Hurricane Sandy Pelican Island "The Day After"

This was filmed by me early afternoon on October 30, 2012, as I was riding on the back of an OEM truck from the Toms River side of the bridge into Seaside Heights. As we headed toward the firehouse in Seaside Heights our truck was diverted into Pelican Island to rescue/evacuate Pelican Island residents who had stayed on the island during the hurricane. Even though the water had already receded somewhat by this time, dangerously high water still covered the island.
