Great video this week- love the yarn review and your coasters are definitely obsession-worthy. I love projects like that! Your colorful bear is absolutely adorable and giving me that "I want to start something new!" feeling... way more fun than the socks I've cast on 3 times and frogged all of them in frustration.. Socks or bear- seems like a no-brainer to me! Always enjoy your content- thanks for always bringing some cuteness and a smile my way! Appreciate you!!

Hi Cassandra! What a great video. I was working on an amigurumi and kept loosing count because my eyes were glued to your video. LOL That yarn is fantastic and it made a beautiful bear and coasters. So pretty. Once a year I participate in a craft sale at my brothers trailer park. It's in August. It's the only one I do as I can't get enough made to do weekly craft sales. Every time I see one of your bears, I just want to stop what I'm doing and make a bear! Have a fantastic week! See you next Sunday. 💕

I used to be quite good at not having a load of WIPs, but lately....there's just too many things I have to make, and they all happen to grab my attention at the same time 😅

If I ever had to give up making toys, I could definitely keep myself busy for many many years making coasters! I think my brain needed a little mini-vacay, and the coasters were the perfect project for it. These days I'm physically unable to just sit and watch tv, I need to be crocheting something (I'm some sort of an addict, aren't I...🤣). I'm already missing making coasters 😅❤

Hi Cassandra what a lovely episode. The flower coasters are beautiful 🌼 and so neat. The unicorn is adorable - her rainbow hair is such fantasy. Also the colour splash bear is one of a kind. Great to see a review of the Hobbii yarns. I’m currently crocheting a blanket and have a weaving obsession at the minute 😂🧸❤️

Love all the items you made with the variegated yarn - especially the coasters. I have been on a little turtle kick. I make 1 and toss it in a box and start another. I think I have done 7...my sister stole 3 of them when she was here visiting. Haha! Now I think I need to do coasters as well.

I am working on flowers for Cindy too. Just starting back into crochet after a major health crisis or two. Actually starting anything has been a challenge for a couple of years, health anxiety is REAL y'all.
But I digress. I have two completed flowers out of six done. I stopped to begin a mouse for Helen @ MousieMakes CAL (1st mouse ever). I'm about halfway done, but losing at yarn chicken. I may have to frog back and incorporate another color into body to make main color last. [Unwisely, I used larger hook to eliminate eye strain, but didn't account for extra yarn needed for larger critter. Ah well...]
Then I go back to more flowers for TheRumiMill challenge. [I also have a luscious BIG poppy flower using larger hook. LOL. Gotta switch back to smaller size hook for remainder.] 😅

There's a lot of things to make, CALs to join, challenges to attempt...I wish I had more time 😜 But even with more time I probably won't get to everything. O well, we do what we can ❤️

Startitus is real, and it seems to hit me harder when the sun comes out. Makes me want to play with everything! I don't find many choices of variegated cotton and am going to get an order in! The variegated bear is fantastic 😍. Lots of love from the (currently sunny) Pacific Northwest 🧡

I also think Cindy will be receiving a lot more flowers than she expects🌷❤ It will be fun to see the mystery project she is working on.
There's a few mystery CALs going on, but I am extremely bad with mystery CALs...I like to get the patterns, but then make the item all at once afterwards (with my attention span, I lose steam too quickly if I can't make everything at once 😅)

I once knitted a Paddington bear in plush yarn, one of my friends called him puddington because of how big he was lol
This is why I like the thinner chenille, because I don't have space to store a lot of huge plushies 😁

Hi Cassandra, I love all your projects. I enjoy making the same patterns in different yarn weights to see the difference also. I was just looking at that alpaca / acrylic yarn on the hobbii website before I sat down to watch your video. I have enjoyed making coasters this week but not quite as much as you lol. I will have to try that pattern. I have been working with sugar and cream cotton and I really don't like it.
Haha! 30 coasters! What? 😂 It reminds me of your hexagones or was it hectagones that you made for the book project. Maybe you can sew them together and make something else out of it! When we have something in our head, we just have to make it! I love all the color differences. Really cool!
I loved making these coasters, especially because the colours were so much fun! The hexagons were fun to make as well, but working them all together...not my favourite part 😅
