I love Hobbii! I've only gotten a few of their yarns (I used Acacia Print for a sweater a while ago, and recently got their Baby Snuggle yarn when it was on sale) and really enjoyed both of them. I definitely plan to order more in the future
I have been shopping Hobbii (pronounced Ho-bee not ha-bee) for years, but never have tried certain yarns..... like cotton ones. May have to go place an order soon!
Thanks for sharing your review of these cottons! I have bought the 8/8 but haven’t tried it yet. I also bought some flesh tones to make amigurumi characters (hoping to make Anya from spy family)but also procrastinating as I know it will take forever to crochet 😅
Do you find this cotton yarn hard to work with? Sometimes with cotton, the strands of the yarn separate while crocheting and it's super frustrating if you make more intricate stitches 😭
They do sometimes, I keep my tension quite high to avoid it! Sometimes it comes in handy for me - when I'm wrapping the stems of the flowers I like to kind of separate the strands a little so that it's a bit less bulky!
I really don’t like the way they price things on their website 🫤 The recycled cotton for example has a price of £1.95 crossed out with new price of £2.45 next to is saying you SAVE 50p? Am I being dumb?😅 Also listing the price that is only if you buy 20+ balls is misleading because you click thinking it’s super cheap then you see the real price🤷🏻♀️
Always lovely to watch you and your new yarn in the sunshine 😊
Thank you!!

I've never tried their baby snuggle yarn but it looks cute as heck, i might have to get that one next time!!
Sometimes I have to fight for my life to get the center pull only to get yarn vomit chaos instead. It's tragic.
HAHA same, sometimes i just get so stubborn and refuse to use the outer pull too, and just spend like 20 minutes detangling it to get to the center
I call it a yarn baby! Lololololol
This is so good, fantastic review Tina ☺☺
Thanks so much! 😊
This was very helpful! I punch needle so the 8/4 would be perfect for my projects 😊
Oooh I've never tried punch needle with them but now I want to try hahaha
Thanks for the review. I am going to go buy lots of Hobbii yarn 🏃
HAHA YEAH OK OF COURSE YOU ARE, SEND PICS

Thanks for sharing the yarn you use, and I'm a new subscriber 😊
Thanks for subbing!

The amigurumi characters are so cute, but I'm so intimidated because they look so hard (and do look like they will take forever hahaha)
What yarn is best for a handbag that holds its shape ?

How much is custom free when ordering hobbii to canada?
I've had to pay customs on about 50% of orders, and it usually ranges from $10-$25!
Can someone explain cotton yarn to me? How can I get thicker cotton yarn? (Acryllic yarn user here)
There are different plys of cotton yarn, same as acrylic!
