Oh my your snowman I love snowmen and have loads around at Christmas. Although I crochet and knit I don’t know if I would have the confidence to make him. That smile of his😀. Eddie is really cute. Love his hat. You could make one with a different hat with a tiny pom pom or a sprig of holly and a matching shawl for a more feminine snow woman.

@@craftycleggscreations I have recently made my first mini doll from Toft, and really enjoyed it, so when I saw that the advent was mini doll, I just knew I had to get involved. Not guaranteeing I will keep up, but it'll be fun trying at any rate.x
What a shame that Lola ended up not feeling well. It would have been fun to “meet” her. Eddie Blizzard is indeed adorable! When you mentioned making another one, I immediately had visions of a line of them “dancing”.

I’m house and cat sitting, my brains in a whirl - forget clothes packing - decisions to made on which and how many projects to take, knitting, stitching, a bit of crochet and some quilting! Hi Jeanette, I have so enjoyed your Xmas in July, my crochet skills are very basic but your creations are so cute I am really tempted to have a go, have looked at a couple of tutorials on You Tube this week. They recommend the cotton based yarn, but your yarn seems to be different, what yarn did you start out with. Thanks for taking the time to put up these videos. Best wishes Chris from Kent
Oh you really should give it a go, I used 100% cotton when I first started making amigurumi toys.
Once you become a little more skilled you can swap and change yarns out.
Cotton is definitely the best. Xx
That snowman is just THE cutest thing! I've just purchased the pattern and hope mine turns out as cute as yours :-) Can I ask where you buy the crochet wires from please? the ones you put in the arms and the cane? Also, it might say but I can't see it, are the crochet terms US or English?

It will be lovely when you’ve done him I’m sure. I use crafting wire, I got mine from hobby craft but I think you can get it from Amazon .
It’s uk terms, the whole item is made using SC. Hope this helps. Xxx
