- The combination of items carried me through the entire game with relative ease. Combine a legendary spear with the rest of its set to give me a quickly regenerating shield. On top of that a secondary shield that absorbs a ton of damage every single room. Then finally an item that heals me when I critical hit something. I was basically unstoppable. Things would have to hit me a ton just to get to my actual health, then I would just hit them and gain it back right away. By that time my shield had likely returned. This made for an overpowered build, plus all that damage I was doing put me way over the top. Dungreed gameplay with my commentary as always!

Mentioning again that the spatula unlocks the last secret character which has a regenning shield inbuilt. You just have to kill a certain amount of enemies.

300 kills with the spatula unlocks the master cheif lol. Its pretty op if you build attack speed. I will say that the overshield however is pretty weak. Itd be cool to see that with the shield helper in action.

Since most enemies have toughness to lessen a bit of damage, true damage is useful to ignore that. Combined with a very fast-firing weapon, it becomes really overpowered. It is absolutely worth it if you have a weapon that fires quickly.
Basically: True damage is valuable the more you have already, just like toughness. 1 or 2 toughness aren't really a big deal, but if you're stacking up 3 items with 2 toughness, that's 6 toughness. True Damage is valuable even for non-fast attacks, but it's less of a priority vs say a minigun build.
May I ask how do you know that enemies have toughness? Is there a detailed article on it?
@@KainYusanagi How come true damage is more valuable the more you have of it? True damage is a fixed amount of damage that ignores all of the enemy damage reduction. If your damage output is let's say 10 damage (after including enemy toughness) then if you added 1 true damage you would gain 10% base damage increase, however, if you were to keep adding true damage to it, the flat damage value it gives for each point of true damage wouldn't change but the percentage dps increase would be lower than what the previous point of true damage added. That is
100÷(10+1) vs 100÷(10+5)
1st true damage % part of the overall dps vs 5th point of true damage % part of the overall dps

You get new items for every character you beat the game with.
There's also a hard mode to unlock, I haven't played it yet, just unlocked it.
The hard mode's absolutely impossible... had to cheat to clear it

Even with blood of serbeo, I haven't been able to beat Lasley in Hard Mode, albeit I did beat the mini-boss found in the moonlight desert
DF, something that might be fun if yoou do a run with 100% evasion, because differently from defense evasion can get to 100%, what of course means you can't get hit by anything.
Might have a chance to get capped, it would be too overpowered, but it is worth a try.

@@tedon9312 capped in this case means there's a hard limit. I think the limit for evasion is 40% or something, according to other comments on other videos. I could be wrong.
Evasion can no longer be 100% and has been capped long since. Earlier beta version builds were full evasion only, but evasion is not as strong as it used to be anymore.

Hey DF, many spears and other weapons have Dash damage, that you can utilize to burst dangerous enemies with not too high HP, like the ghosts for example.
If you autoattack and immediately dash, you deal more than double damage in one go. Especially great with slow high damage weapons (like your spear). Dash for damage is also usefull, since it resets some swing timers on weapon. Big swords can attack pretty fast in a row that way, added up to the damage the dash does
I just wanna wait till he attempts all the trials and the boss at the end of it. hehehehe.
Also interesting how he hasn't aegis'd yet and got a permanent bonus.

The boss at the last trial is hard, but try to defeat the true final boss after that, his damage is insane, no matter how much armor u stack

I learned that the combo of magnifying glass+ bomb pouch + slingshot is pretty ridiculusly op. When I started the run I got it in I hadn't even defeated the Frost Boss yet. At the end of the run I died to the slime Boss...

@@matapavosgamer I've beaten Kaminela like 4 Times and I have a slight memory of rescuing the old Guy and maybe even building for him but his house isnt there but the builder Guy says there's nothing to build
you need to complete the trials to get the real ending , to get the trials you have to rescue this old guy who i believe only shows up in hard mode (correct me if i'm wrong(edit:i'm wrong) afterwards you can fight the final boss of the trials to get to the final boss which is accessed with a secret passage to the right of Kaminela's room (the boss you just beat) and they have three phases. hope this helps, would really love to see you keep making videos of this game. oh and each character outfit unlocks new items each time you get an adventure success with them (ex: Plate Mail Warriors item is that shield, and some characters unlock more than one item).

so if your shield is gone, the toughness of mejinlord belt thingy is probably best. wear the shield, then swap it out for the belt when the shield is gone.

The most overpowered weapon,
but he grabbed the wrong one, the shield is literally one of the best items if you use dodge, it gives ungodly defense and alot of damage and also gives a bunch of dodges also makes dodges are rechargeable.

@@RuynTheWorld getting it is not at all complex. If Im honest it's rather impossible not to get it once you're able to so it doesn't matter too much but you're right. I sometimes forget what kind of person DF is
Df needs to find and keep the wings, because the wings and spring boots are hella OP. The spring boots have a second ability where damage increases while you’re in the air, meaning that if you keep flying you can do an insane amount of damage by the end if the dungeon.
Also (credit to vidya gaems) you need the spatula weapon to unlock the last character/skin which has a regeneration shield by itself
Knowing DF, even with some of the best items in the game he’s probably gonna mess it up.
Let’s see how this plays out.

That spear if you dash then attack it automatically goes to that aoe attack. Very powerful
If u get the spring boots, they increase your damge by a crap ton the longer you stay in the air. Now if u have wings you can permanently stay in the air so you get a lot of damage increase if used with spring boots.

I was just watching an old dangerously funny video waiting for a new one. Well here I am.
The crit healing thing is awesome with the basic throwing dagger. It attacks fast, stacking crit makes you actually do damage, and you can stay relatively far away from danger. I've never lost a run with the throwing dagger + chalice combo.

DF, just saying. the Twin Swords of Madness are quite overpowered. Even without the madness set bonus I was melting bosses. The Grasslands dungeon was also incredibly easy because everything died so quick.
Just saying so maybe you could potentially use them. Max attack speed on those things are insane, and it lasts 10 seconds. It actually how I beat the game.

have you done your blessings yet? You can gain 5 more skill points to train with if you havent, just means you'll lose your level 30 a few times to grind it though.
But yeah, Blood of Srobeo is way op, that and gods dice trick that adds like 25% crit and crit damage. Those 2 items just equals easy runs for days you'll finally get to play the game without stacking defence!
Both these items actually furtger encourage stacking defence since dice gods trick adds so much damage you dont need to focus on it for a while and istead stack def and blood of srobeo works the better the less health you lose
If you ever find blood of srobeo, keep it over tana and get a weapons that hits very fast, and then upgrade critical chance and defence and you have immortality, its insane, it recovers 4 hp a second if you have high critical chance, i almost killed kaminela with a serrated sword and the blood of srobeo

DF’s got a good system going!
Play a bunch of games until one game really sticks on, gets a lot of views and a game you enjoy. Then play and milk that game over and over until you are bored/done with it, then try for another game, rinse and repeat. This way you make videos your viewers are happy with for a long time AND don’t get your fan base stuck to a single game
The legendary tonfa special abillity is actually used to reflect enemies projectiles, it does way more damage this way, specially against bosses like the ice witch.
Important tips. Kamila isn't the last boss far from it. Dash isn't just an attack use it to avoid attacks and close gaps(can be used to great effect during slime to transition between platforms) learn which items are actually best in slot. A few videos you've canned easily the best items because you didn't understand why they were broke. Often single items can outweigh a set bonus. Lastly range weapons are just bad. Get the moonblade and q everything off screen for easy clear if you're not confident at dashing to avoid attacks.

Please use the aegus option!!! PLEASE! It resets your levels but it gives you a permanent buff each time you do it

When the videos are dangerously good
DF you are not done yet. there are still the trials, the mid-bosses(that only spawn on hard mode) the secret boss you unlock after completing the trials, and the secret SECRET boss you unlock by defeating the 1st secret boss, buying a hammer only available past the 1st secret boss, and then IMPORTANT destroy the wall in the right corner of demon lord Kaminela's room with the hammer to face the true final boss.
I was wondering when you were going to upload.
I've had a very fun run yesterday. Pushed Aegis again so I was only level 8. Went with bear dude. Got a Light Saber (and enhanced it) and the armor set. Got a good Steam Shield with 3 Toughness. Then got Dice God's Thingy and replaced the weakest armor. Ended up with 4 Toughness overall and almost 80 crit chance, with the set I would only take 1 damage from any source but the extra damage from Dice Gods Thing was worth more overall. Sadly died to the end boss, he used his one-shot attack just as I went in, didn't know that he got that attack :/
The tonfa special reflects projectiles so it’s pretty good
Dash damage adds up pretty well. You can become firefighter and with the so called useless griffin egg that gives dash you can pretty much do %200 damage with dashes also lets say you hit a crit (which is hard for firefighter) you do %400 damage. Combine that with nastronds high base damage value and power from foods you can easily hit 500 in single dash
for watching like half of your videos on this game I jumped in and a few runs later I made it to the dragon infested wasteland they call a forest. or whatever. I found a weapon that had no skill and that literally helped me the entire way through. and maybe a blunderbuss but not much.

The toughness accessory was a smart choice

Dash damage can be really easily stacked, can do tonnes of damage with it.
Also, do the Aegis. I've said this too many times already

WHAT you should do when bosses is Remove the Helper when you dont have your shield anymore and replace it with something else
The inventory is locked from use when in battle
In my opinion before the boss you should have the toughness and the shield. Then when the shield is gone try the healing with the toughness because the shield women doesn't help when the shield is gone. And when the shield is up you can't heal anyway.

The solution for too many projectiles turns out to be MORE PROJECTILES.
