I think this type of video is SO helpful for companies. If I buy something from a brand i haven't tried and don't like it - I often don't purchase anymore from that particular brand - so good to know they have things that work. Constructive criticism, should always be welcomed from responsible brands - especially if they are a premium brand.

I just bought that contour stick at the rouge sale. Still haven't opened the box yet. Now I'm wondering if I should take it back and get the Mark Jacobs O'Mega Bronzer in perfect tan, or the Bronze and glow from CT. I live in Alabama so I have to order my Charlotte online. I was in Disney (Orlando) for some of my Rouge sale so since that was a vacation sephora THEY HAD IT ALL! Oddly no Armani Luminous Silk tho. I was disappointed because I have been wanted to swatch and find my shade. I watch every Risa upload! I love your talks and tips. I am 41 and you know just what I am experiencing most of the time. Will you please do a CT lipstick try on like you did for the L'oreal lipsticks before? I usually order mine online unless I go to Buckhead, Atlanta. This would be so helpful. I loved the Victora. My favourite so far is the Hollywood flawless filter I use it everyday and love it. The one that disappointed me was the film star bronze an glow. The one I purchased was fair medium and I honestly could not see anything on my skin but the highlighter was nice.

The first few CT products I bought didn’t live up to their promise. I truly didn’t feel drawn to spend the significant dollars to get more. But it really is helpful to get a discriminating assessment of best and worst.
I bought the Hollywood flawless filter on ur recommendation....omg, absolutely the best!!! It gives such a natural glow as a highlighter, and it is very versatile. Totally worth the splurge!! Thank you!!!
Micky Bo I love it as a subtle highlighter, u can mix with foundation for a glow , also I like to mix a little with my sunscreen, (regular or tinted) on days I don’t want to really wear make up but still like a lil glow..can be used on eyes, can be added on top of lips to highlight..it really is a great product. It’s not glittery, it really is a soft natural glow..really nice. Hope that helps!!
I like the fragrance of the cream & got a sample of it to try. So glad I did. It glided on so smoothly & in the morning my skin was totally red & irritated. I tried again another time to see if it was a fluke but no, my eyes were swollen. My skin can’t handle that fragrance I guess. Love your videos!!! Please do more specific company favorites of drugstore & high end like elf or #Nyx or Morphe & how about some Sephora brands many youtubers ignore. Makeup forever? Becca? Givenchy?
Love the video and love Charlotte Tilbury. I must have 4 Iconic Nude liners stashed wherever I think I’ll need a touchup. A must-have. Love her lipsticks, concealer, air-brush powder and I really like the eyebrow gel because I have full brows but Linda covers the stray grays that have made their appearance. I don’t need fibers. I agree about the contour tube-the color and ease of use is the best. Fortunately I haven’t had an issue with it clogging. I could go on but it’s embarrassing how many of her products I have. i just ordered two Superstar Lips in Pillow Talk and Happy Lips. Every day I say I how many more lipsticks do I need?...and then I turn around and find another that I “can’t live without”! Oh well, as addictions go, this is a pleasant and relatively harmless one! As always, your videos are great and your recommendations and advice are the ones I appreciate the most. Have confidence in your path and direction. As Mr Roberts said “I like you just the way you are”.

I TOTALLY can’t do eyeliner pencils. They’re a MESS. I’m A LIQUID EYELINER person, preferably a BRUSH PEN, or even a CREAM/GEL. If a person has closer-set, or is really oily on their eyes near the inner corners, I generally recommend that you stay away from the area and start the eyeliner a little bit farther out.

Hi Risa, great video! I heard, and I don't know if it's true or not but there was a rumor I've heard from a few people that Charlotte's magic cream is Nivea moisturizer mixed with MAC strobe cream. Have you heard that? Just wondering? I have only tried the magic eye cream, I wasn't crazy about it myself and one reason was the fragrance.
I know this video is a couple of years old but I am new to the Charlotte Tilbury lip line and unfortunately I can't find the right color for me. Everyone talks about the Pillow Talk and on me it is very peachy brown, and then I bought Wedding Bells it also comes off on my lips as a brownish tan color plus they only last on my lips for about 10 min. I seem to have that problem with just about every lipstick out there. Nothing and I mean nothing last on my lips. It doesn't matter if it is high end or drugstore lipstick nothing works. I have tried using lip liner all over my lips because someone told me it would lock the color in (not on me) I have tried the old fashion method of applying my lipstick then you take a tissue cover your lips and dust setting powder over the tissue that helped but maybe extended the lip wear for 25 min. I have tried lips stains and that seems to be the only thing that I can honestly say I get some wearing time out of, but I enjoy a shiny lip so as soon as I apply a lip gloss on top I can say goodbye to to the lip stain. Do you have any suggestions. I am frustrated and I have wasted almost $200 on on Charlotte's lipsticks, and glosses. HELP!!!!!

I agree with so many of your picks. Howver, my #1 is theconcealer but I HATE the packaging. But, the product is SO good I ignore it but UGH it's really bad. I too have oily skin but love the Magic Cream. I don't use it every day because it's too moisturizing for my but when I am doing a glam evening make-up I always use it! Congrats on 100K. You're great. I've recently discoverd Michele Wong and she is awesome too. Since I am one myself I really enjoy seeing "older" woman on RUclips. xoxo
I do agree with you on the concealer! It’s another fantastic product in horrible packaging. Mine currently looks almost as bad as the contour wand I showed. It gets so messy because product continues to come out long after you’ve finished twisting it! 😔
I tried her brow lift pencil as a first product. Usually brow pencils is one thing I always skimped on and thought all were equal, until I tried hers. It looked so natural, and has lasted SO long! So after watching your video on the 2019 Christmas eyeshadow palette, I just ordered one, along with another brow pencil. First order you can get 10% off, plus 2 samples. I got the magic cream and magic night cream as my samples. Looking forward to trying!
Great review. I love CT products! I’m on my 3rd flawless finished powder, bought numerous lip cheats, over and over again (they truly are the best imo). Also, her kissing lipsticks & a few of her blushes &/eye shadow quads. LOVE. Just picked up the Hollywood flawless during the sale. Got an example of the magic cream. Not enough for my dry skin. And, disappointed in the bronze and glow. The bronze never showed up on my skin at all, & I’m NC 30. The glow was just “meh” to me. I tried to make it work, but alas, did not. I picked up one of the latex lip glosses, absolutely love! I don’t get a bad smell or taste.
Love the lip pencil formula! Although I can't wear Pillow Talk,I can wear the medium Pillow Talk..love it! I'd to try the bronze, perhaps try it in the store first. Thanks as always for your great informative videos!!🙂💄
Congrats on the 100,000 subscribers ... you really deserve it. You work so hard to help your fans and I love that you are so overwhelmed. It's a huge accomplishment! I'd cry too. Since you asked, I use Legendary Brow Gel and love it. It isn't the greatest with respect to fibers/control but it is the only tinted brow gel that colors my gray eyebrows. All the others including Benefit Gimme Brow+ don't. My fav CT product is her Light Wonder Foundation. Her #3 Fair is my perfect match. It's a light to medium coverage foundation that gives me a natural look plus it wears great over sunscreen. I have her lipstick pencils and love them too but I prefer Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks. I think they're kinder to mature lips and the packaging with the amazingly varied mirrored cases to choose from are to die for. Thanks for this review. We all know that you LOVE CT! So extra thanks for your honesty. Would love to see you do this for other brands too. I really respect your opinion. 💘💘💘💘

Hi Risa, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but magic cream has spf15 in it so I don’t think you should use it at night. But what do I know! You should use it anyway you want :p
Hmm..I don’t see anywhere on the container or on the website that says it contains a SPF? 🤷♀️ Even so, as far as I know there is no harm in wearing a product containing SPF at night. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hi- I will have to maybe try her lip pencils again. I tried one years ago and thought it was dry and didn’t slip on the lips well. I’ve been using Milani and L’Oréal nude lip liners and actually love them! I agree with you on the Hollywood FF and her blushes are nice, too. :). I got a sample of the Magic Cream once and LOVED it too!! I have dry skin so I guess it works on many different kinds of skin. However, I was in Sephora the other day and tried Tatcha’s Dewy Skin cream and am so sad that I didn’t get that one on the sale... that felt AMAZING on my skin when I tried it... and for the price point, I think it’s a better buy. I think I prefer the ingredients in it. I wish the Hot Lips formula came in more Satin formulas. I don’t like or wear matte lipstick. I love this kind of video- thanks!
Those sponges were the first to go as soon as I opened my package....those sponges get full of old gloopy dry product and make the concealer apply thick and weird....fresh product mixes with old dry. Removing the sponge makes the concealer smooth and new every single time. I also don’t have a messy lid with product everywhere....win-win for me :) If that concealer wasn’t so amazing, I’d never put up with the packaging hassle.....but ya know ....sacrifices -I also love the airbrush FF pressed powder....I’m desert dry, and this is amazing! I can even use it under my eyes, that never happens with pressed powders or most loose powders....it’s worth every dollar!
Watching this again 6 months later and thanks to you I now own a number of CT products 🥰 and I love them. The Hollywood Flawless Filter is amazing! At 63 I thought I was too old and it would highlight my children/grandchildren worry lines but it does not! It gives my skin a beautiful glow and I often wear it with just concealer to cover dark spots etc. So thank you so very much for your recommendations!
Since you make the two videos with Michele, I‘m a follower of your channel. I have been buying and using CT for many years and love the most of her stuff. I think that's amazing, not everything that does not work for someone is the same for everyone. I love the brow gel from CT and it just works perfect for me. I tried so many different brow gels over the years. Always have a back up of it. But I can not stand the smell of the new Latex Love Lip Gloss, I think they smells totally like chemistry. Just a terrible smell. Thanks for this kind of video, please do this with more brands (like doriroberts1) 💋

Yes! The finishing powder in #1 is great to set the under eye with a sponge. It’s beautiful and I highly recommend it!

I like the fragrance of the cream & got a sample of it to try. So glad I did. It glided on so smoothly & in the morning my skin was totally red & irritated. I tried again another time to see if it was a fluke but no, my eyes were swollen. My skin can’t handle that fragrance I guess. Love your videos!!! Please do more specific company favorites of drugstore & high end like elf or #Nyx or Morphe & how about some Sephora brands many youtubers ignore. Makeup forever? Becca? Givenchy?

Love the video and love Charlotte Tilbury. I must have 4 Iconic Nude liners stashed wherever I think I’ll need a touchup. A must-have. Love her lipsticks, concealer, air-brush powder and I really like the eyebrow gel because I have full brows but Linda covers the stray grays that have made their appearance. I don’t need fibers. I agree about the contour tube-the color and ease of use is the best. Fortunately I haven’t had an issue with it clogging. I could go on but it’s embarrassing how many of her products I have. i just ordered two Superstar Lips in Pillow Talk and Happy Lips. Every day I say I how many more lipsticks do I need?...and then I turn around and find another that I “can’t live without”! Oh well, as addictions go, this is a pleasant and relatively harmless one! As always, your videos are great and your recommendations and advice are the ones I appreciate the most. Have confidence in your path and direction. As Mr Roberts said “I like you just the way you are”.

What are you thoughts on Charlottes Legendary Lashes Vol 2? I personally love the way my lashes look, but unfortunately I think it’s a little flakey.... I keep going back to my favorite, L’Oréal’s Lash Paradise. It’s THE BEST out there!

I TOTALLY can’t do eyeliner pencils. They’re a MESS. I’m
A LIQUID EYELINER person, preferably a BRUSH PEN, or even a CREAM/GEL. If a person has closer-set, or is really oily on their eyes near the inner corners, I generally recommend that you stay away from the area and start the eyeliner a little bit farther out.

Hi Risa, great video! I heard, and I don't know if it's true or not but there was a rumor I've heard from a few people that Charlotte's magic cream is Nivea moisturizer mixed with MAC strobe cream. Have you heard that? Just wondering? I have only tried the magic eye cream, I wasn't crazy about it myself and one reason was the fragrance.

I know this video is a couple of years old but I am new to the Charlotte Tilbury lip line and unfortunately I can't find the right color for me. Everyone talks about the Pillow Talk and on me it is very peachy brown, and then I bought Wedding Bells it also comes off on my lips as a brownish tan color plus they only last on my lips for about 10 min. I seem to have that problem with just about every lipstick out there. Nothing and I mean nothing last on my lips. It doesn't matter if it is high end or drugstore lipstick nothing works. I have tried using lip liner all over my lips because someone told me it would lock the color in (not on me) I have tried the old fashion method of applying my lipstick then you take a tissue cover your lips and dust setting powder over the tissue that helped but maybe extended the lip wear for 25 min. I have tried lips stains and that seems to be the only thing that I can honestly say I get some wearing time out of, but I enjoy a shiny lip so as soon as I apply a lip gloss on top I can say goodbye to to the lip stain. Do you have any suggestions. I am frustrated and I have wasted almost $200 on on Charlotte's lipsticks, and glosses. HELP!!!!!

I have very oily lids and even waterproof mascara smudges on me. But the khols stay just fine on me! No complains about the khols for me 🙂

I love her lip liners 😍 No clue what or how they are so fabulous but that formula is the BEST! I love so many of her products. A few of my favs would be the Unisex Healthy Glow - no one talks about it but it’s gorgeous! Especially for Summer and especially when I mix it with Wonder glow
And the Eyes to Mesmerize shadows - Bette is my fav!

I really wanted the filmstar bronzer, but I saw reviews that says its not long lasting at all, so I decided to look for another one. I wanted in first place cause I want to contour and bronzer at the same time.
Mine doesn’t clog. I make sure I close it back after using. Maybe that’s a difference

I agree with so many of your picks. Howver, my #1 is theconcealer but I HATE the packaging. But, the product is SO good I ignore it but UGH it's really bad. I too have oily skin but love the Magic Cream. I don't use it every day because it's too moisturizing for my but when I am doing a glam evening make-up I always use it! Congrats on 100K. I do agree with you on the concealer! It’s another fantastic product in horrible packaging. Mine currently looks almost as bad as the contour wand I showed. It gets so messy because product continues to come out long after you’ve finished twisting it! 😔

Great review. I love CT products! I’m on my 3rd flawless finished powder, bought numerous lip cheats, over and over again (they truly are the best imo). Also, her kissing lipsticks & a few of her blushes &/eye shadow quads. LOVE. Just picked up the Hollywood flawless during the sale. Got an example of the magic cream. Not enough for my dry skin. And, disappointed in the bronze and glow. The bronze never showed up on my skin at all, & I’m NC 30. The glow was just “meh” to me. I tried to make it work, but alas, did not. I picked up one of the latex lip glosses, absolutely love! I don’t get a bad smell or taste.
Love the lip pencil formula! Although I can't wear Pillow Talk,I can wear the medium Pillow Talk..love it!

Congrats on the 100,000 subscribers ... you really deserve it. You work so hard to help your fans and I love that you are so overwhelmed. It's a huge accomplishment! I'd cry too. Since you asked, I use Legendary Brow Gel and love it. It isn't the greatest with respect to fibers/control but it is the only tinted brow gel that colors my gray eyebrows. All the others including Benefit Gimme Brow+ don't. My fav CT product is her Light Wonder Foundation. Her #3 Fair is my perfect match. It's a light to medium coverage foundation that gives me a natural look plus it wears great over sunscreen. I have her lipstick pencils and love them too but I prefer Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks. I think they're kinder to mature lips and the packaging with the amazingly varied mirrored cases to choose from are to die for. Thanks for this review. We all know that you LOVE CT! So extra thanks for your honesty. Would love to see you do this for other brands too. I really respect your opinion. 💘💘💘💘

Hi Risa, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but magic cream has spf15 in it so I don’t think you should use it at night. But what do I know! You should use it anyway you want :p
Hmm..I don’t see anywhere on the container or on the website that says it contains a SPF? 🤷♀️ Even so, as far as I know there is no harm in wearing a product containing SPF at night. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hi- I will have to maybe try her lip pencils again. I tried one years ago and thought it was dry and didn’t slip on the lips well. I’ve been using Milani and L’Oréal nude lip liners and actually love them! I agree with you on the Hollywood FF and her blushes are nice, too. :).
I got a sample of the Magic Cream once and LOVED it too!! I have dry skin so I guess it works on many different kinds of skin. However, I was in Sephora the other day and tried Tatcha’s Dewy Skin cream and am so sad that I didn’t get that one on the sale... that felt AMAZING on my skin when I tried it... and for the price point, I think it’s a better buy. I think I prefer the ingredients in it. I wish the Hot Lips formula came in more Satin formulas. I don’t like or wear matte lipstick. I love this kind of video- thanks!
Those sponges were the first to go as soon as I opened my package....those sponges get full of old gloopy dry product and make the concealer apply thick and weird....fresh product mixes with old dry. Removing the sponge makes the concealer smooth and new every single time.
I also don’t have a messy lid with product everywhere....win-win for me :)
If that concealer wasn’t so amazing, I’d never put up with the packaging hassle.....but ya know ....sacrifices
-I also love the airbrush FF pressed powder....I’m desert dry, and this is amazing! I can even use it under my eyes, that never happens with pressed powders or most loose powders....it’s worth every dollar!
Watching this again 6 months later and thanks to you I now own a number of CT products 🥰 and I love them. The Hollywood Flawless Filter is amazing! At 63 I thought I was too old and it would highlight my children/grandchildren worry lines but it does not! It gives my skin a beautiful glow and I often wear it with just concealer to cover dark spots etc. So thank you so very much for your recommendations!

I think that's amazing, not everything that does not work for someone is the same for everyone.
I love the brow gel from CT and it just works perfect for me. I tried so many different brow gels over the years.
Always have a back up of it.
But I can not stand the smell of the new Latex Love Lip Gloss, I think they smells totally like chemistry. Just a terrible smell.

God I love Charlotte tilbury. I got samples of the magic cream when I purchased her brand new foundation and I’ve fallen in love with the cream and going to purchase it. Her products are expensive but so work it!
I love the lip liners from CT and the contour/spotlight wand. I don’t get the hype about the Film Star Bronze & Glow, for some reason it really doesn’t show up on me and I have a light to medium skin tone . Awesome video, keep up the good work 💖!
