To make the covers fit. You need to change how your battery is strapped down . Put your strap from front to back and keep them from crossing the frame.
my buddies 72 volt cuts out around 74 volts when u gun it cause it dips too low, i recommend goin back at like 75.5 depending on how far from home you are. i have had to walk a MX650 1/2 a mile cause of broken chain and that sucked...
I get max speed of 40mph with the 76v E&C Ultimate 2.1 kit. I have 76v 20ah battery, but you could also fit the 76v 24ah from E&C which I believe should get you a bit more range. That said I get great range as it is (Up to 35 miles based on how I ride). IMO you probably would be uncomfortable by the time you would hit 50 mph anyways. A surron swap would also probably be waaaaaay more work than the E&C kit too to get t to work
The modes is not anything to do with speed. It’s how the throttle response that’s all it is like go fast as you you can on flat ground on mow one and then go onto and then at the same flat ground you’re not gonna go any faster the only difference is when you punch it the throttle it popping a wheelie that’s the only thing it’s not gonna go any faster
What’s your gearing? Stock? I will say the first time I rode this bike after building it, I felt the same way in mode 1. I thought that I would never ride outside of mode 1. With that said, I then just became familiar with the bike (this was my first electric vehicle) and I learned how to control the throttle. It feels really easy to whiskey throttle the bike when you first get on it. You just have to get a feel for the power delivery and you’ll be comfortable with it in no time.
@@ConnorGMedia I opted for the 2.1 kit with the 14T sprocket but I’m thinking of putting on the stock motor 11T sprocket on it. Im not giving up doe will definitely have to get used to it.

Did just that (along with a little cutting) to fit them! If you check out my recent vids you can see the setup with the side covers on!
@Connor G that was the 1st one of you videos that I watched.

I'm not certain on your kit but on the original 72v kit mode 2 and 3 are the same power. There are only 2 power levels.
