Hey Matt! The first tesla you removed was in the perfect spot! The length of time it had to attack enemies was much higher than where you put it next. And because there was only one entrance to the grid, all enemies will have to go through it. With the +3 range, it will hit EVERYTHING!!! You can block a whole path for the whole game with one tesla too, they attack quick and do aoe damage. Get the cards to let the tesla do some bleed, fire, and poison damage and upgrade it as much as you can! Quality over quantity is the engineering way! ❤️
I feel like he keeps on making the same mistake over and over again, namely only layering his defenses outwards and eventually just neglecting the tiles closest to the tower so that when something pushes through, he has no means to stop it.
bigger issue is that he doesnt really upgrade his towers very much, a single high lvl aoe tower does more work than 20 other low lvl ones. hes just forcing quantity basically, but in this game quality over quantity works way better, u can literally survive all 45 waves with like 2-3 aoe towers as long as u keep dishing money into them.
You choose so many different tower cards instead of upgrading like 5 towers to be beast. Its 44 cards total, so if you choose 9 towers , your left with 35 cards and an average of 4 upgrades per tower. The pool of upgrades increases when a new tower is picked. This opens you up to tons of tower upgrade options, which limits your actual choices every round when your trying for specific cards. Essentially you have so many cards available, you are less likley to get the upgrade your seeking as there are so many other options it can display. If you choose 5 towers, your left with 39 cards. This is an average of 8 upgrades per tower, and doesnt muddy the card pool for upgraging what you want. This allows you to achieve helpful options that make towers more effective, instead of just more different towers that throw cotton balls.

A cool hack for the priorities is to put all the defences most further away from the towers to most health/shield, and then the nearest ones to the tower to the least health. That way, you can reduce the number of hp that you'll lose by picking off thr weakest enemies near the tower so only the most powerful ones would be able to hurt you.

I also love the frost keeps. The slow cooker combo is amazing and I love putting a big pack of mortars near an area with a few frost keeps and setting the mortars to target slowest. So many explosions, it absolutely rinses armor and health. Especially when you go down the concussive shells route and get the bigger splash radius.

I like running crit builds in this game, you can max out at 50% rate for double damage, then stack triple damage, THEN stack quadruple damage crit on top of that. It's expensive to level a tower up that much though. Also getting 30% or more crits on flamethrower and poison sprayer towers results in a shower of crits due to their high fire rate.
Ballistae have been around waay longer than the medieval period! The Romans used them, and probably ancient Greeks as well, they've been around since at least the bronze age. Most medieval versions started out as copies of old Roman designs

you should get the mod that lets you deupgrade cards from the overall deck, this will thin the deck and allow you to make exotic builds viable as it won't give you a bunch of stuff you aren't looking for.

I think the way the radar range works is that it’s shared, meaning if an enemy is in range of one radar, it is in range of all the planes spawned when purchasing a radar.
I maxed out all the experience things/perks but i haven't made it to lvl 45 yet, and eventhough i haven't gotten there i've gotten bored already and stopped playing because I maxed all the cards which gave me no reason to keep playing lmao
Radar tower is actually the best boss killer the game has to offer. You only need 3 cards for them (unlock, range and range II) plop one down at lv 14 on a +3 tile and leave it there. It’ll kill every boss for you as long as you properly set it’s priority and properly extend the path. It also naturally gets a lot of xp. By the time you get to lv 45 it’ll have over 20 lv. Against enemies with smaller hit box tho, they’ll have difficulty shooting and hitting properly and if they switch target they’d stop shooting and try to find another angle which will take a long time.
Hiii engineers, I am a (hopefully) future engineer and wanted to know out of curiosity how much money a house produce. I thought, well I can make a function and say gradient is 4(4 towers) and c is 0. Now to get the total coins I integrated from let’s say 11 to 15 ( I built the towers at level 10 ) and I got 208, I did the same in game but it’s telling me net gifted is 260. I knew right away it had something to do with the integration constant C. But I have no idea how to calculate it and I am not sure if it is true, and if yes how to use it? Help?
One of the reason I love radar is they have the best single target burst damage capability. While there's quite the interval between each strafing run, the rate is at 700rpm, meaning that if they just deal, say, 200 damage like in lv.1, it's already a 140k dpm, along with their pseudo global range, since each plane will follow the enemy they locked on, then lock into nearest enemy with the set priority after that. You won't believe how easy radar cheese oogie with 3 strafing only.on top of that, it doesn't even cost mana, unlike obelisk that goble so much mana
I think Matt's just doing a couple classic mistakes 1. forgetting his towers near the base and only adding further along, meaning that those that slip through the defense he just built, are simply too strong for those low level towers that haven't been shooting + leveling back near the start 2. spending money buying more and more towers, when it would be more efficient to put a couple levels into the already existing towers 3. not using targetting effectively. While any tower can do any/all damage, there are still some that are just better. Target mortors on slow and armored. Place Poison and Flame towers to hit long straight lines so they hit everything on that line. Balista's are great for levelling up for a variety, so if you're struggling with something, drop a few, level, and target armour/shield/health specifically (also adding like "most armour" and "least shield" will stop Mortars and Obelisk wasting mana and slow shots hitting something with half it's shields, while there's a Particle cannon shooting at some no shield quick guy with 3 health)

You want shield damage normally, because armor is east to strip away.

Mortar and frost keep isn't a best combo because the mortar shoots is advanced so when slowed by frost keep, the mortar rarely hits the enemy
