Buddy I've been watching you guys you and John now probably 3 months religiously and I'm going to tell you there is nothing I want to see more than you build that chevette! I wish I could find the videos of me and my buddies and the annual chevette jump remember some good times
You and John got me to pull my Yamaha rc100 chassis and mid 80's coyote chassis out of the shed and in the garage. Builds are in progress. Thanks for the inspiration
I don't mind you repeating yourself 5 times because now at my ripe old age I have temporary memory lost . Always look forward to your videos ....keep up the great work..👍👍
4.3 into a chevette ...cant waite to see that...I had two chevettes... a 1977 new about 2700.00 and a 1980 also new ...very good school cars...very basic... but both had air cond...lol...
Guy who sold you that Blazer for two beans buy that man a beer or a wine for the woman. Can't! Wait the see the build always like share and subscribe. Izy your the best man.
That $200 Blazer looks like it's in great shape and could make a nice daily... Which is exactly why it needs to have its engine transplanted into the Chevette! Who needs practicality when there is fun to be had? I'm looking forward to that project. Suggestion: Use the Blazer's drive train also, and you'd end up with something utterly unique and even more awesome, a 4x4 Chevette! (edit: Clarification)
Hi issac .had a holden Gemini which is the same as your chevett .put a 308 v8 in it .we got sedan or coupe not the five door like yours will waiting for this project .love from Australia keep safe mate ps we also got two door wagon and panel van
Issac talking to his tax guy: "Well you see, I had to get the car port and write it off as a tax expense for Cars & Cameras. The Nova can't get rained on, it's practically made out of toilet paper glued together with sticks and bubble gum". Tax guy: APPROVED!
Isaac, When filming yourself, hold the camera slightly above eye level. Its just a standard practice, Helps us open our eyes wider, hides our turkey neck and cant see up our noses.
as a contractor i must say that i dont mind my customers paying at their convenience...i never pressure people to pay until they have had a chance to fully inspect the job... i know that people will pay as i always try to go above and beyond what was expected...also try not to inconvenience people with false start dates or missed appointments, that could be a red flag
Dude dont try going to home depot. I found out how long that takes. Only hot half the deck job done and built new stairs but looks like tomorrow morning is spoken fir. Get er done man. That chevette is gonna purrrrrrrr
Back in the early '80s I had a coworker that drove a Chevette that had an Isuzu 4 cylinder Diesel Engine, that thing would break traction up to 4th gear. Was pretty awesome for a Sleeper.
4.3L V6 aka 350 v8 with 2 cylinders chopped off xD shes gonna haul brother, with the reliability of EFI she'll definitely get-ir-done with plenty of power and torque to spare, might make a fun sleeper as well lol
Good deal on the blazer but a Buick 3.8L would probably go in the chevette easier. Not 100% sure but I believe you'll have to modify the fire wall for the distributor on the 4.3.
Isaac I think that you need to get ahold of the owners of the carport company and complain about the service. You my friend do need some time off. I know that Cars and Cameras is your job but you have a life of your own to live. You are an intricate part of the team. Be safe and stay healthy
Hey Isaac. Hope your doing well. Just a thought. If you cleaned up that shop, you probably wouldn't need a carport right? Just sayin don't get mad. Have a great weekend.
hey Isaac my name is josh can you keep your eyes open for a 2 door baby blue nova I want to get my mom something for her mothers day gift and I want it to be from the heart I know she used to have one when she was younger but it lost reverse so she always had to park places she could drive strait out of or she had to push it out of a parking spot and someone also crashed into her and she could no longer open the doors due to the body being crooked and she had to get rid of it let me know please you are awesome at finding amazing cars and trucks please and thank you and I love your channel and the triumph is freaking awesome.
(I am posting for my close friend) In my driveway he has a 1982 Chevette taking up valueable real estate here in southern Commiefornia at my house. it's a 1.6L automatic, it's rust free with original paint that needs waxing out, the plastic parts (door panels mainly) are dried out a bit as it lived its life in the low desert of So Cal. It runs fair, could use the carb rebuilt and a tune up as it was parked for 5 or 6 years and in the previous 13 years before that it is receipt documented to have only driven 1300 ish miles, I think the odometer says 61k Might be correct but not possitive but it's in nice shape for a car that was originally a throw away car. The car still has to pass smog here in California so it's more headache then it's worth. He says he was going to throw it up on CL and offer up this week, it was bought a few weeks ago and got running, had to get a battery and filled the tank, we have lapped my neighborhood with it putting on maybe 20 miles, the tires are like squares and need replacing and for some reason it has aftermarket aluminium wheels that have stock size 13" tires. If your interested I can get you all the details on it and maybe shoot some pictures of it or maybe a RUclips video of it running and moving showing everything. . It is a great starting point for a race car (we were talking about 8. Early 2000s LS out of a Tahoe or 'burban as they are cheap to buy) but I really don't want to do the project as it will be here for months and he has already lost interest when he was over today he said it is definitely going to be sold I think for $1000 bucks but don't quote me on the price. The bad thing is shipping will kill you I would imagine.
@@addicted2fuel I forgot to mention 2 door hatchback Oh and if the car is staying in California it is on a current DMV non operational, so no back fees
Same thing with me and the warranty. I lied and told them I sold my KIA. Asked if I had any other vehicles. I said yes, a 1946 Studebaker truck. He asks what is a Studebaker. LOL! V6 Chevette sounds about as much fun as my 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit pickup with an Oldsmobile Toranado engine and trans in the back. My be we can hit a rod run together some time. Terry from South Carolina
Did ya ever in a million years think that Cars and Cameras would become a full time job to where you would be blessed enough to retire from mechanic work - I enjoy the videos of all your toys
YES the chevette gets some love!!!!!

If a person is unreliable about even showing up for a job. That is a very good indicator about the quality of the work he will do for you.
I used to like those 4.3 in the old blazers and S10's. Awesome build cant wait to see it
That's the good thing about your videos... your superpower is your simplicity 👏👏👏
I don't mind you repeating yourself 5 times because now at my ripe old age I have temporary memory lost . Always look forward to your videos ....keep up the great work..👍👍
Wow that this game is beautiful that's going to be awesome scene that thing rolling around on some videos that is a beautiful car awesome videos

Thanks for the video. Be safe. Peace.🇺🇸
My wife does the same thing when the scam warranty people call. Love it !!!
As a man with skills, I bet you could build an awesome car-port yourself. Would make a great build series. Stay safe out there😎
Enjoying your videos, your personality reminds me of some of my Family, without the anger. LOL
Keep up the good Work on both Channels!

Keep the videos coming. I enjoy watching them. Damn carports people.
Ok, you got me with the Chevette. I subscribed!
I don't watch your videos all that much i mostly watch cars and carmeras but I'm gonna have to tune in for that chevette build
Not too fussed on there being no big builds in every video. Just as entertaining seeing a day in the life of Isaac :)

Does Isaac have the same accountant that did Jim Baker and Willie Nelson's taxes?
The music while you were washing your car lol, I felt like I was at a club!

Well, I'm not the only one getting those calls. I told them I had a 1969 Apollo. Guy told me that was a nice car. Went on to say it was a classic.
That's awesome
R.I.P. warranty on the blazer
What warranty lol the things 20 years old
Might want to rob the AC out of that Blazer if Power Tour is going to be in August!
The intro was epic brother keep up the hard work
Love this! Can't wait to see this happen!
Heck yeah, good ole 4.3 vortec. Them motors get to much hate I love them just a 350 with two less cylinders. I really wanna see that build 🤟🏻

We feel ya with the slow projects. Good luck with the swaps
Love it, I believe the chevette is the same chassis as the Toyota AE-86 🤘🏻👍🏻
As my wife would say, "You are a Fun". No explanation needed.
I would love to see the Chevette as a WRC style historic... running at the future course at the new headquarters.
8:12 Okay wait just a sec. Thats the drag rail hanging up on those straps
Yes I seen that too what up
That's what I was coming to comment about why they hung the drag rail
It’s because it’s sooo big and long that it can’t really practically be stored anywhere else. That was the best place for it
What's left of it....
Good deal on the blazer but a Buick 3.8L would probably go in the chevette easier. Not 100% sure but I believe you'll have to modify the fire wall for the distributor on the 4.3.

Ive always wanted a chevete with a 2.2 but a 4.3 is nice too
You should put a 2 stroke on the drag rail!!!!!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
I hope he keeps the 4 speed behind the 4.3 that thing will be saawweeeeett
I get that warranty call 3-4 times a week..... How heck you stop them !?!?
I can picture that Chevette with the 4.3 litre V6 turbocharged like a Grand National.
Hey Isaac. Hope your doing well. Just a thought. If you cleaned up that shop, you probably wouldn't need a carport right? Just sayin don't get mad. Have a great weekend.
Well thats officially the first time I watched someone wash a car with a shirt on. Haha

I'd love to buy that chevette if you decide to sell it. I can't find one here in Ohio that body style

A vortec in a 'vette'... nice!
Here's an idea...take the dragster down out of the ceiling and get it going again....
Run's like that for $200? Hell yeah!
Did ya ever in a million years think that Cars and Cameras would become a full time job to where you would be blessed enough to retire from mechanic work - I enjoy the videos of all your toys
Nope and thanks
Looking forward to seeing the chevette swap
if you could properly swap that 4.3 in there, that'd be so freakin cool man
