Allah always plans in our favour. The greatest comfort is found in knowing that Allah is managing your affairs. We want the best but Allah wants better. Remember him often. Allah comes first and everything else is secondary.

The child is father (teacher ) of the man.
One thing I could not understand in Islam is that we are taught that our destiny is already predetermined. Later on I realized that if our Creator did not know our future then He will not be All-knowing. This is a crucial attribute of the Creator. Then I got the answer from my little granddaughter when she was still a toddler. The first thing she used to do when she came to my house was to run to the staircase and climbed up the stairs and I had to follow her lest she fell down the stairs. So as an elderly person I knew her habits. Then I realized that the fact that I knew what she was going to do does not mean that I instigated her to go up the staircase. So my knowledge did not have anything with her actions which were motivated by her own volition. Then I realized that similarly the Creator's knowledge is not the motivator of our actions. He has given us freewill yet He knows what we will do since He is all knowing. Just as I could have have penned down what my little granddaughter would do before she actually does it, similarly the Almighty could get our destiny written down before we actually live it. So my granddaughter taught me one of the most complex mystery of life.
    Quran 16:9
And had He willed He would have led you all aright.
Allah did not want to use His will. He sent us to use our freewill that he has endowed us with.

There is no pure determinism in Qadr (divine decree/destiny/fate in Islam). And even the deterministic parts of Qadr do not conflict with the concept of "free will". We have the ability to choose, but of course up to some point.
First of all, some ppl apparently have a hazardous confusion related with "Allah's will/desire/want" and "Allah's permission". There is no paradox on "Allah's will-humans free will" duo, as some imply and argue.
    1) What Allah wills/desires, happens no matter how:
*Qur'an surah el-Bakara ayah-117: "The one who created skies and the Earth out of nothing is He(Allah). When He wants something to happen, He just says(commands) 'Be!' and it happens."
And what Allah wants for us, is apparently to have the ability to choose:
*Qur'an surah Yunus ayah-99: "If your Lord wanted, everyone on the Earth would certainly have absolute faith..."
"Allah's will" is we, as human beings, to have "free will". Because we are on the Earth to be tested. Allah does not show His unseen world to us, because He wants us to believe it without seeing it. If Allah showed His unseen world to us, there would be no use of test, because no one then could dare to reject the realm of Allah.
    2) Not even a grain of sand can move without Allah's permission (check surah-Yunus ayah-100 and surah-Bakara ayah-102, tough there are more ayahs pointing that as far as I know).
Good and evil happen only with Allah's permission; and in the concept of Qadr and free will, human beings and other creatures with free will may use their ability to choose only if Allah gives permit. That is the point of confusion perhaps.
USUALLY, WE DO NOT WILL STH BECAUSE ALLAH WILLS SO, BUT BECAUSE ALLAH GIVES US PERMISSION TO DO SO. I say "usually" because sometimes even when we are conscious, Allah might not give us permission to make a choice because He WANTS/wills so. And in such a case of course, we are not in account of that action due to not having the option to choose (being out of "free will").
With Allah's permission (inshAllah) :) this will somehow be clarifying.
Secondly, the important thing about destiny/divine decree/fate/Qadr that most people is missing, is Allah's ability to know any event before it happens, and its outcomes before they become reality.
One analogy we can do on this issue is throwing a dice: When a dice is thrown on a flat plane on the Earth, there are 6 possible outcomes under normal conditions(1,2,...,6). So we have a very limited number of possible outcomes for this event; yet the determinant factors deciding the outcome are ahead of our understanding due to incalculable and excessive number of factors such as throwing angle&force, density&speed-angle of air, gravity pull force&angle, unpredictable events ending up effecting the dice like touching, momentum&angle of collision, the physical characteristics of the dice itself and the table/plane (solidness, thickness, weight, stiffness etc.), and so on...
For us as human beings, any statement for the outcome of this event is no more than a prediction, because we do not have all the parameters and equations, thus we cannot calculate the outcome exactly . But for Allah Subhane we Teala, for "The Creator" of this universe of creations, of course it is a piece of cake to KNOW the outcome. Because He created everything, He might calculate/measure any event, thus He knows how everything will behave and end, including us. Allah is able to calculate anything, He knows every possibility. Allah (swt) has the ultimate knowledge and power.
Now take a time when you decide upon sth: The event is "making a choice" just like "throwing a dice". The choice is the outcome, and we have the free will over determining it. All of the parameters of this event (our faith, knowledge, feelings, decisions, abilities, loves, environmental factors etc.) are all exactly known by Allah. So Allah is mighty of knowing the outcome, He always knows what we will decide and do. And this is not predestination! It’s just the outcome of Allah’s almightiness, omniscience and omnipotence. That is an important part of Qadr that most people struggle comprehending it.
You may ask yourselves the following question:
“Ok, Allah knows everything; about the cosmos, the earth, environmental circumstances, and everything about us including mental and physical characteristics, before they end up in being. But really, how Allah knows which one I will pick among multiple good and bad choices, before I even do it? How Allah knows my intention before I even think?".
One cannot have a concrete answer to that question, I suspect. If we could fully understand the abilities of free will and consciousness, perhaps we could be able to produce machines with free will; and this kind of advancement is either prevented by Allah in some ways, or we are not given the intellectual capacity to achieve it.
To curb this issue, we may focus on following statements:
    1) Allah informs us that He gives us the ability to choose up to some point.
    2) Allah informs us that He knows everything.
    3) We perceive that we have the ability to choose. It looks like we have free will.
So if you accept all three statements above and still not convinced about free will-Qadr correlation, I have to ask you: what is the matter with you? :) Why don't you accept that you have free will? Should you fully understand how the mental and/or physical and/or spiritual&other processes functioning in the background? Allah informs us that we have free will, and we perceive it that way; so what/who keeps you from accepting it as you perceive it? Shayitan (satan) ???
With this deduction, we can get free will out of the concept of Qadr.
And about predestination, we should not miss that we have the ability to choose in this life up to some point:
-We do not have the choice to pick the family we born in, all the people we meet, our physical appearance, our abilities, our own IQ level etc.
-Also even if we're seemingly conscious and free, sometimes Allah might not allow us to choose, and show it as we chose it (we're not responsible in that case tough).
These are some predetermined parts of Qadr. So our ability of making choices, aka our free will, is limited and this does not change anything with the test we are facing on the Earth. Because, ALLAH HOLDS US RESPONSIBLE FOR ONLY THE CHOICES THAT WE MAKE FREELY AND CONSCIOUSLY, as far as I know and imagine.
The fact that Allah is able to calculate/measure any outcome of our actions and our choices, doesn't change the fact that He gave us the ability to make choices.
Our destiny (in Qadr) has surely and exactly been known by Allah(swt) since the start of time. And we do not play our roles in the written destiny, we do not act the way we act because it was written in our destiny so. But because, what we were going to do was known by Allah at pre-eternity, this is because He has the ultimate knowledge & He calculated&measured, and then Qadr/destiny was written by Allah(swt).
    Stay safe and blessed.

"In the Surah At-Tin ayah number 5, Allah says that He created the mankind in the best stature . Does it mean that Allah created us in the best character or physical form or both? And what does next ayah mean by the lowest of the low? Lastly according to those meanings, did Allah created us in the best possible way or does it just means that amongs the creations of Allah we are the best

[ Allah ] said, "Descend, being to one another enemies. And for you on the Earth is a place of settlement, possessions, and enjoyment for a time."
He said, "Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth."
And Allah has caused you to grow from out of the Earth as a [progressive] growth
Certainly, Allah knows what the Earth consumes from them, and with Him is a retaining record.
And they say, "When we become bones and crumbled dust particles, will we [truly] be resurrected as a new creation?"
Say, "Be you stones or iron."
Allah is not the parent of anyone, and He is not anyones child.
And there is no comparison with Allah with anyone, or anything.
Say, "He is Allah, [the absolute] One alone!
Indeed, we offered the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but Man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.
So who can tell you lies about the Judgment?
Is not Allah the best of Judges!
Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of those who have gone astray from His way, and He is most knowing of those whom are [rightly] guided.

How do we know that something or someone was written for us? Do we affect it by making decisions? There was a girl i was in a haraam relationship and wanted to marry but i left her because I was told that was the best way. I also hurt her at times by revealing parts of my past after having made tawbah. Now that I have realized how compatible we were and try to pursue a relationship with her, she wants nothing to do with me. Could things have been different? A non muslim saying muslim women are treated badly during menstruation. Its a natural thing, Allah creates women that way, but then Allah says shes impure? Shes not allowed to touch the quran? Theyre not allowed to be in the masjid because of the blood might mess the salah place, but what about their house? They read salah in their house as well
I dont know how to answer this, like quoting quran verses and hadith and explain why. I hope Bayyinah Institute can make this clear as it will help muslims to face this kind of question from non muslim. I know there must be explaination behind this, Allah knows best.

My understanding was that everyone will be in Jannah/Jahannam, may Allah save all of us from Jahannam, only after Day of Judgement. Or is it that the Prophets are already living in Jannah?

How does a man balance between maintaining his beard, wearing his trousers above his ankles and still remain part of the society and friends he has earlier been? Is it really a grave sin not to keep beard and wear trousers above the ankles?

    Assalamu Aleikum Bayyinah people,
Many people around the world are making translations of lectures to different languages. Maybe you already think to make a platform about this if not I will recommend the following: make a platform, website with a list of different named videos(lecture, khutba etc.) with the information of available/uploaded (professional, not automatically youtube translations) translations and which languages. That will prevent double work for so many people and we can all work together like the wiki system, make corrections in translations if something can better. If we collect all translations together you can also upload and update it to your videos on bayyinah.tv
Then I hope that not only English speakers but also other language speakers will take advantage of the easy chronological and professional system on BayyinahTV This succes will be then inshallah ours together. May Allah bless all the ummah and make this dawah easy inshallahu teala!

Zoya Mufti actually the lesson is to be pleased in every situation and ask Allah whatever we want but if it just does't happen you have to know that Allah is listening to you and by his wisdom He will give you what exactly you want or even better but we might not understand it. The most important thing is to keep your emman through all situations. You can make an analogy to the parent and the kid, sometimes kids want something but the parents will give something else by their wisdom but the kids think it's not the thing they should have done.

The speaker says' Allah will carry out on Own His term and not on others'.
    This is terrible analysis!
How this was deduced? Then why this verse?
"You alone we seek for help."
The word "like" is quoted out of context!
    2:219 says
Warfare has been decreed for you while you hate it; and perhaps you may hate something while it is good for you, and perhaps you may love something while it is bad for you; and God knows while you do not know.
    The word " تُحِبُّوا " - you love
The opposite of love is "hate".
Do you love to go to war? The probabilty of getting killed is there. There is nothing wrong to dislike it.
For example, you saw a very beautiful girl. The natural tendency you practically dropped for her. You made certain doa. Got married.
And your marriage lasted for 30 years. And the beautiful girl has now become old. And your love for her is still strong.
In the first instance, when you saw her its your want that brought you into her life! Allah swt sees your heart and what you utter: lip service!
Lets say Allah swt puts you in heaven for a day. And brought you back to earth and say. If you fight now, you will get a better heaven forever if you get killed in the fight. How is your feeling now?
Allah swt will only carry what you "really" want or need. Allah wants you to write your need in your heart and not just lip service!
Majority does not really know what they really want or need.
Your need is the responsibilty of Alla swt. But, you've got to ask Him.
Know thyself and you know Allah swt.

Dear Sir, Allah started by creating a pen. Then he created a book. Then he told the pen to write his divine plan, after giving it a lot of thought. The pen wrote everything that will happen in infinite detail. From the past to the present, to the future. Every atom, every being, every breath, every thought, every action, all were written down in his divine plan.
He put this divine plan into action. And for Billions of years this plan is been moving along just fine. And here you come with your prayer asking Allah for something that is not in his divine plan. What do you expect him to do!? Change his plan just for you!? It is his divine plan, he is not going to change it just for you. So now if your prayers are not answered, what do you typically say? OK, it is Allah’s will. And he will do what he wants.
**So if it is his will, and he wants to do what he want anyway, Why pray in the first place!!?** Rest in peace George.

Dogmalogy first when talking about the Almighty don't think of him as human and address him in a similar manner. And we pray bcs simply we don't know if something will be granted by Allah sooner or later or not at all it is in our innate creation to try our best and want to receive something so there is no harm if we try and then leave it to the will of AllH who knows how we run what is good for us and bad for us. I actually find it blessing that one might pray for something and AllH with his infinity mercy not responds to it for our own benifit. May George rest in peace. Stay positive trust in the creator who watches over u n protects u when ur sleep

There's one crucial point not mentioned in the video that is Allah subhana hu wa taa'la will reward the unanswered prayers (dua) immensely so immensely that people after looking at the rewards of unanswered dua's will wish that their each and every single personal dua would have been unfulfilled so they might have received a tremendous reward instead, on the day of resurrection.

    • @dogmalogy3666
      @dogmalogy3666 6 лет назад

      Dear Khayr, AG,
You both are saying that Allah grants wishes, like a genie. If he did not grant wishes, then he has a reason. So it is 50%/50% chance that your prayers will be answered. I could be praying to any other god and be able to get similar results.
You mentioned that you have to wait until the day of judgement to see how Allah answers prayers. You are saying that I have to die to find out?!! When you have a weak argument and no proof, it is convenient to make that a condition to test the efficacy of prayer.
I could tell you a similar thing. Believe in my coin-god. Sometimes the coin-god answers with heads, other times with tail. But believe me, my coin-god will reward you for your faith, especially when you die. Then the coin-god will give you all heads ;-)
The bottom line though is that there is no proof or evidence for any of this, meaning no proof that the Quran is truly the word of Allah. No proof that Mohammad talked to Allah. Hell, no proof that there is a God. It is all hearsay. Mohammad said it, and people around him repeated it. if he was in a courtroom, his claim will be thrown out for lack of evidence.

    • @ag135i
      @ag135i 6 лет назад

Dogmalogy first of all address Allah and his messengers with respect we don't tolerate nonsense against them. Your theory throwing out of courtroom apllies to you to show disrespect to a judge and he throws you in a jail similarly show disrespect to Allah he can throw you in hell. To get a feel or taste of something you need to experience that thing so to know of reward or punishment you need to die you might be willing for the risk due to ignorance or arrogance but we are not if you are free to believe whatever you like so are we!.

when millions of muslims gather at Arafat and with imam Kabah pray with full CONVICTION to improve the condition of Muslim ummah, then from ur talk it appears it is not Allah's will ...so if Muslims of paletine, kashmir, burma are dying its all according to Allah's plan..??
well if Allah wished he would have heard our prayers and through some miracle He would have rescued them...why doesnt He send down ababeels from sky now? nothing will happen if we just keep on prayinv till Doomsday
these sermons only turn people away from Allah that what kind of a Creator is He Who wills that His creation must die?
no wonder more and more people are turning away from suchreligion because these pessimistic sermons have no answer to their problems...totally dissatisfied with your explanation

      Namrah Iftikhar
      Salam,
You really have a thought provoking question there.
But here's the issue, when Allah punished a nation, they said He was a God that's full of hatred. That God can't even does justice and change the hearts of these people. Next is, when the punishment of Allah didn't came, Allah was blame as well. Like God is not fair and He just stand by watching all innocent people die.
I think the appropriate answer for that is, where are the believers? We should help each other, we are the ones that should stand up for our own brothers and sisters. We claimed we believe in Allah, but we can't even defend our fellow believers. We are cowards. If you see the leaders of the muslims' nation. Trust me, they are one heck of a coward. They're the ones supplying the corrupt nations with money. They don't even have the nerve to stand up against what is right. Forget about being a muslim, they don't even have an ounce of courage to save our brothers and sisters that are suffering on other parts of the world. And so, I'll end with this ayah, Ar-Rad, 11:
For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . *Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.* And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.

      @ridarafiq521 6 лет назад

Namrah Iftikhar dear ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'AALA made human beings khalifa on this earth. It is our test here, not of Almighty ALLAH. We are supposed to help each other, try and stand for our fellow believers. Didn't Prophets go through all sorts of trials and tribulations? Weren't they then beloved slaves of ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'AALA?
Faith and trust in Almighty's plan is basic part of our faith. Do not take it as pessimism dear.
May ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'AALA guide us all Aameen.

      Arooj Mohsin Salam,
So in your description you're talking about the so called first world countries (liquor, adultery etc.). But the brothers and sisters who are suffering are living in Afghanistan, Yemen, the middle east, and parts of Africa. Why do you blame themselves for the mistakes of the politics? Most of the crime and suffering in this dunya is connected to politics which is made from corrupt human hands. It is not Allah's mission to save the world like Spiderman. We have a mission as muslims.
