  • I cook up some delicious baby back ribs. First I use the MMM-USA portable grill to give the ribs a nice sear and soak in some of that wood fired flavor, Then I move over to the newly restored Lodge 12" camp dutch oven and braise them to fall off the bone tender. We'll use the mmm-grill to also cook up some bacon, chicken, and bbq beans.

I like how you cut that slab in half man. You counted the ribs twice - precision and accuracy! I was an alignment/front end and suspension specialist credited with making vehicles go straight even when they were bent and I do the same kinda thing.
I learned to cook ribs on a smoker and don't know how to cook em any other way yet so I'l have to give this method a try - they look good!

I’ve always smoked ribs as well so this has been a fun way to learn to cook them. They’re like baked ribs but very delicious!

Nothing like working hard then sitting back, enjoying a beverage, and grillin. Im doing some chicken tonight on the west coast while watching your video. Another perfect day
Btw if you love onions you have to try growing some of your own. Theres a flavor in fresh onions you just dont get with storebought.

I’ve often thought of building my own small herb garden, even with some tomatoes would be fun. Who knew I’d even think of doing that! 😅

@@AbomAdventures lifes an adventure. I have hundreds of seeds for various plants and interesting tomato varieties, even blue ones. Ill make up a package of various seeds and send em your way. I only leave my property once a month at best so it may be awhile.

As usual you do a great job cooking. I've been watching your channel for awhile now and the thing I appreciate most, is you seem to be a humble man who just enjoys cooking for others as well for yourself. I don't have a RUclips channel but I enjoy cook as well and I've been told that I'm a very good cook and should have a BBQ restaurant. I don't know about that? Keep the good videos coming brother, I enjoy watching your channel!! I smoked a brisket as I usually do and after the wrap, before I let it rest I seared it then let it rest, it gave it an extra flavor I wasn't expecting to be so good!

My scout troop usually uses multiple ovens for cooking dinner and such. One for the meal, one for biscuits or rolls and one for desert. We stack them one on top of the other to save on charcoal.

I have seen you wearing them in a couple other ones and had to check your amazon store to see if you had a link to them with no luck. Any downsides to cooking on cast iron daily? Say breakfast for eggs and meat then steak for dinner? Not a fan of the traditional non-stick coated pans.

    • @AbomAdventures

You can cook all foods and every meal on it in cast iron. Each cook just adds another laying of non stick seasoning to it.
