weeds are good for making anerobic tea the plants love it, been doing it for years, the weeds break down and stink a bit but its better than miracle grow.
I agree with your statement. People around the world need to be educated about using chemical fertilizers and how it affects the micro biology in the soil and the run off in streams,rivers,and the ocean with all the Marine biology life 🐠🐟. We need to go back to the old ways of organic growing and rebuild our soils back to a rich living soil. Happy Growing ✌️🌎
Just a heads up on the question of blossom end rot in tomatoes: it's caused by a calcium deficiency, not any kind of bacterial or viral infection, so it's safe to compost them.

If weed seeds are germinating after composting, you are doing it wrong. A microscope is essential to count the beneficials, otherwise it's just blind faith
What resource would you recommend to someone wanting to learn the microscope method to verify the compost quality?
