This is a great anime, love how he goes from rank zero up to super powerful and picks up strong friends and gets to be OP in no time at all and becomes a "battle junkie" the bigger the challenge the happier he is, even to the point where he gets super giddy going against a strong opponent and gets an evil looking grin on his face. This is well worth watching and this review does a good job. I recommend staying far away from the dubbed version as it is really very horrible

I prefer to think of it as a short cut for the viewer, rather than the character. As the viewer we need to be able to evaluate the character's strength and the stat screen is just an easier way to explain some vague, but vastly overcomplicated system for doing so that would be used in anothef world.
after watching anime I continue to read the novel realize the anime not just reduce the fan service but manage to not reveal the real more darker story behind everything. I hope it got season 2 and so on because the story actually as impressive as Jobless Reincarnation at least for me 😁
