C Stove Thanks Cory! Yea that switch that gives you a credit is neat, plus it's hidden. When I went to toomanygames they modified the cabinets and installed a button on the coin drawer that gave you a credit which I thought was kinda dumb.
I thought about trying to get this cabinet-- used to love this at Malibu Gran Prix back in the day. Those stupid barbells/girders pissed me off something fierce.

@@mtshark7 Yeah, the trick doesn't always seem to work. But you won't survive more than one girder/weight at once and you must pull yourself up in advance, not as it passes through. I've read that you may actually survive the crazy climber sign in this manner but I'm not trying it.

I was fortunate to grow up having a convenience store in Texas. My dad also did business with a few arcade rooms in Louisiana. Every month a new shipment of arcades would be lined up at my dads store. We'd always have 10. I also had keys to every one so I played whenever I wanted! Crazy Climber is pretty special to me. It was the first arcade to be sitting beside the Christmas tree when I was a kid! I ended up having 5 arcades siting at my house, until SHAZAM, dad stripped them from me to sell! 😲 Thats ok because i have a monster arcade sitting about 20ft from me right now, but it has around 6000 games on it! Her name is Big Burtha.. You can hit my page and see a small video of it. It's the one labelled "Mini Christmas party". Leave a comment..😉 Oh by the way, I think *Wizard of War* was the first talking game!

The Highlander Thanks Wouter! My friend who sold it to me did a lot of things to restore it: Installed a new power supply, replaced the wire harness, installed new joysticks, made a new front panel where the joysticks go, re-capped the monitor, installed a switch that gives you a credit when you hit the coin return. Only thing I have to do is replace the coin return LED lights. Thanks for supporting!

I owned one of these back in the late 80's. Lots of fun. Wish I still had it now! Sold for $100.
