My son is battling with a mental health situation/breakdown. He also has an 'I ' problem. Every sentence includes 'I wish', 'if only I had..', 'why didn't I know this' etc etc - it is totally exhausting and draining. I've prayed for his deliverance and others are too.
He believes that because he didn't do 3 things God asked him to, because he heard in church the words passive and lazy in 3 different sermons, that these words are for him. He believes he has lost God from his life and that the Holy Spirit has left him, he says he felt the Holy Spirit drain away from his heart and he's now left with a hardened heart and condemned.
He has spoken some very damaging words against himself out loud and in his mind, because of this and because of his mental state he says hes broken every one of the 10 commandments and is going to hell.
The distressing thing is that he keeps saying out loud we're going to heaven, it must be so nice for us because he's going to hell. Its terrifying but in Jesus name I counter every comment with God's word but he's adamant there are biblical verses which confirm his thoughts 😢
I've found a biblical Christian councillor but i know it's not enough yet.
I'm praying protection over his life until the depression lifts, in Jesus name 🙏
