Have you had any dji drones? I really like your videos and how down to earth you are. I’m getting back into drones and my last one was the dji mavic pro. How would you compare the fimi x8 se 2022 to that one? I actually just ordered the fimi x8 pro because it showed that it was in stock. I also ordered the tx10a with it. If it’s not in stock I might cancel it and go a different route. I had my eye on the Autel evo lite plus. I’m just not sure which way to turn. Either mavic mini 3 pro, Autel evo lite plus or the Fimi x8 pro with the smart controller. Thoughts? TIA great job!
The easiest way I can put it... Fimi & Hubsan & C-Fly & all the rest are for Hobbyists who dont mind solving little issues that may come up but in the end save a bundle. For quality , Service and dependability.. DJI & Autel. I would not recommend the X8Pro or the TX10A. The X8SE 2022 V1 & V2 are great (heavy) drones but dont hold a candle to the Autel Evo Lite Plus Or the Air 2S or new Air3. The Mini 3 Pro is a sub 250g drone and a different animal. I bought the DJI Mini 3 (not Pro) and am not excited about it. I even got the DJI RC and compared to the TX10 controller is a bit of a let down... super light and convenient but nothing special for the money. In the sub 250 (budget) drone category I like the Fimi X8 Mini V2 and the Hubsan Zino Mini SE (The fimi camera is a little better). So you see the question is not easy to answer. All depends on many factors. Least of which is budget, weight category, features etc. Then there is the NFZ and soon to be RID issues.. DJI is a pain for NFZ.. Autel.. not so much. So.. what is you main criteria?? Sub 250g? Flight time? Range? Camera? Non NFZ's? Automated flight modes? Tracking? But whole heartedly I can not in good conscience yet recommend the X8 Pro or the TX10a. I love my TX10 & X8 SE 2022.. but these things are all starting to get expensive. I myself have not had an Autel drone but of those I know who do state they are very, very good. I have had 3 DJI drones, Several Hubsan Drones, a few Fimi drones and the odd Off Brand drone. But if you are not a hobbyist and want more of a Tool than a Toy... It's always a crap shoot with Fimi & Hubsan. What do you think?
@@GorillamansGarage great detailed reply, I’m mainly looking for a good quality camera and don’t want to do a lot of post editing. I don’t need all the bells and whistles. I would like reliability and it to be durable. I wouldn’t even need the OA. I do really like the x8 se 2022 v2 but I wish the camera was a little better, it almost seems close to the original mavic pro that I had. I would like an upgrade to that. I found a deal for the Autel evo lite plus with premium package for $1000.00. I’d like to stick around 1k. I ordered the nano plus but returned it right away because the controller didn’t fit my iPhone max, but now I see you can get aftermarket phone/tablet holder for the controller. Have you used the exo black hawk 2 pro? Any more input is greatly appreciated. Thank you

@@tylerhoertsch1240 you've probably ordered something by now, but here's my 2c. I like Fimis for their waypoints feature, and a few other things, but the big downside is the camera controls, and the fact that, since the 2020 version, all video is recorded with variable frame rate. That results in jerky playback for edited video, unless you first pass the video thru a frame rate correction utility - which is easy enough but it takes a lot of CPU horsepower and is an additional time-consuming step in the editing process. Unless the X8 Pro has dropped the HiSilicon video processors used in the other models, it's likely to suffer from the same flaw.

As always with Fimi & Hubsan.. only play with what you can afford to lose. Add to that.. the X8 pro is a very large and heavy craft. I love my X8 SE 2022 V1. @@GorillamansGarage Thank you your fast reply! There is a problem, that is no reliable source for the tester. For some, it makes a very nice video, for others it is very weak. There are not enough units on the market to get a more comprehensive picture about this model. All the best!
@@GorillamansGarage I'm in it now with PayPal over the fimi drones. 🤣😂. Send fimi photos, video. Still Not enough. They will do anything to not pay a claim or replace a drone. It wouldn't surprise me if the quality is lower ordering straight actually. Because if they mess up too much at retail stores the stores will refuse to carry the product. Speaking of which, I dont see fimi in retail stores and heard they were almost kicked off amazon. One of the drones is a x8 pro. I was testing drones (sort of like you) but my patience has become thin with fimi. Ok can't in good conscience recommend fimi. The quality appears at initial purchase good. Even the cords, good quality. The ports are a be antiquated im surprised they have not moved to USB c . Initially the quality seems good for the price. But they still don't have it together problems arise. And getting them to honor that warranty is pulling teeth. I have the x8pro too. Haven't tested it. Waiting for "issues" with fimi to resolve
Unforgivable omission by Fimi - the TX10 has no compass module, so the AI gadget is never fully functional when using it. I think a late model iPad Mini makes a better controller.
Using a Tablet does have advantages. But The TX10 does a great job for the money. I liked using a tablet but with the full size controller it was a little top heavy.
The dogs basically made the path around the fence (shown in this video.. ruclips.net/video/QpepowYYvLo/видео.html ) . The property seems more peaceful now. Lots more to do but seems like the canvas has been defined now. I can't say enough good things about the X8 SE 2022 and the TX10. The accordion controller is very good but gets heavy when I attached a Tablet to it in a stand. My Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus works great and has a decent size screen with a super bright screen. My cheap tablet (seen here.. ruclips.net/video/DG9Cm2aMTpE/видео.html ) is very dull and has really bad audio. Maybe one of these days I will be able to refit the studio with 1/2 decent equipment.. but for now its the S7 Edge, S9 Plus and a cheap Teclast Tablet . 🥹😂😱🤷♂️
