I've watched this a couple times now, still trying to figure out how to manipulate imported sound samples, but man I hate this workflow. I've been using trackers for so many years that DAW's like this just don't make sense in my head, and I don't really favor using all this built-in sound and automatic playing either. The precision control of tracking is unmatched, and doing everything with a mouse or touch instead of a keyboard is an adjustment for me to say the least. But anyway, just learning how to kind of bounce around in these "sections" (which I would call "chains") has already been super helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make this video sir.

What are you getting latency on?

@@TheSoundTestRoom I tried connecting a USB mic through a USBC adapter but am experiencing latency, do i need to get an audio interface? Most of the ones I’ve been looking at don’t have a USB output. I have a 2020 iPad Air so i don’t know if i have to invest in a proper MacBook just so i can load logic/GarageBand etc..

I do love your videos and your RUclips channel, and I’m wondering what synth you used in this song?

Hi. I almost jumped away from your tutorial right at the start because you missed a big step and left me lost. You said to click on "Percussion", but there is no Percussion option when GB is first opened (the only options are, "Acoustic", and "Electronic"). I figured out that I had to go find and download "Percussionists" as an extra in order to have that option. Then things go well until you show to add "Fairytale Bells". But you've downloaded those from somewhere and they're not in the basic GarageBand, and I can't find this Fairytale Bells add-on, so you've again lost this beginner for whom this tutorial was supposedly created. Frustrating to watch a tutorial to learn how to use an application when the tutorial creator skips necessary steps right at the start. Anyway, obviously I'm not going to follow the rest of your tutorial. Hopefully you'll go through your video and fix the parts where you skip steps.
