8:41 you are actually correct!!! 😊 in the Japanese version, Crono's element was 'Heaven'. Light, essentially. America's entertainment industry is filled with systemic Deiphobia, and almost literally every religious or religious-adjacent topic was scrubbed from games. So, Heaven was thus turned to Lightning in America. In re-releases, like the Fenix Down turning into Athenian Water, the Lightning was turned back into Holy.
Since you seem to enjoy this and are getting into the story, I highly suggest Chrono Cross next!!! Some ultracrepidarians will say it doesn't "connect" to Chrono Trigger (they are wrong). But naw, not only does Chrono Cross' story not work or exist if Crono and his team didn't do what they did in the end of the game, Cross takes place 20 years after Trigger on the mainland continent. So it isn't super immediately apparent, but there are huge game-spanning connections and multiple people from Trigger are in Cross. If you enjoy story, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing it after this
Queen got kidnapped, and wasn't rescued because they thought Nadia was Leene, so the past changed because Leene was never got rescued... meaning Nadia wasn't born, until you rescue the Queen. Then she goes back to being alive and Nadia comes back alive. hahahha
@@madamemoonie just starting with Suikoden 2 is fine. i don't wanna give you too much info and stress you out preventing you from actually starting the game 😂 btw, i'll also be joining you on your Chrono Trigger journey. seeing you play made me wanna replay this classic
LOL No idea why you came into my stream but dude, this game changed my world, for real, I was like 18 it was the first thing I ever bought on a credit card. Didn't even know what it was, and I basically didn't sleep for the next 2 days. Its so damn good. Congrats on getting to experience it for the first time, game is magic af. Gotta sub to see how it goes!
Idk who you are but I have a very particular set of nostalgia and...yea idk how to continue with this Taken joke but yea I will subscribe to find out if you can figure out how to get further than I did.
while i don't consider it flawless, it's pretty much like ff9 to me in the sense that the game is nigh perfect and great at what it does... peak squaresoft days. this and ff6 was only about a year in between releases. they really cooked big then
I love your energy and the editing makes this actually fun to watch and not boring 😄
