- Father Athanasios Mytilinaios was born in Athens in 1927. He studied electronic physics and was a pilot in the air force. He was ordained a monk, a hieromonk and he was the Abbot in the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos, Komnenion, Larissa, Greece.. He slept in the Lord in 2006.

Praise God for the Orthodox church...through the church I was lead away from Nestorianism and have now embraced the fullness of GOD through Jesus in knowing that Jesus really was and is a divine person. I was once Arian, then Nestorian, and now by GOD's grace, I am now informed of Jesus' fullness of deity and humanity through Orthodoxy.

Thank you so much to translate this wonderfull teaching from Father Athanasios Mytilinaios. Everything this Holy Father said, is the Truth. I know it from inside out. Growing up in protestant household, always feeling something is strange, not compleet. So I was searching and practising Buddisme ( after wandering around for a long time ) Still feel not complete, praying to Jesus, to show me the way lead me to the Orthodox teachings of the Holy Fathers. That bring me home. I know this is a trap to see Jezus as one of the mystics. But only trough reading and learning from the Orthodox Church I can have at the moment some decernment. Im curious for some time now because also many other saints said that one part of the Church will fall into Ecumenism and the other part will unite and stay Orthodox until the end, so im curious where does this fit with the prophecies about Constantinopole, Tsarist Russia, etc? Does anybody know?
