University Street is actually part of the main downtown tunnel segment open from the very beginning. I can see your possible confusion though, there is also a stop called University of Washington and another one which was part of the Northgate extension called U District.
For a brief period at Pioneer Square they installed a center platform as trains would arrive at the same time and terminate due to construction happening. But since then they removed that platform, so it is quite interesting. They could have put a barrier there but they chose to just remove the platform again.
Anyone can explain why there is no more recent videos of cab view of link light rail? I only found very old videos. I’m assuming they decided to cover the cab window?
Awesome!! Love to see more videos of the northgate extension and the new trains!

It is interesting that the pavement for the buses is still there. I would think that they would have added a fence or barrier in the middle.

And of course you got the “harassment” announcement as part of this short video.
"Sound Transit does not tolerate harassment, please report any harassment to security or transit employees."
