This video is pure BS, should be reported it for being fake news. The burning test is not a proof of authenticity. Remove the toothpick, settle in on a hard, non-flammable surface like a stone or metal chopping board, I guarantee you'll see the same boiling (not burning) action for both. Other videos also show air bubble test, viscosity test, and these are all useless. Different species of bees, different harvesting and storage conditions will all affect how thick honey is. Watery honey can become thick when it loses moisture, thick honey can become watery if improperly stored before use.
I am glad I was aable to mute the distracting music. Is there any scientific basis for these tests? Did you test different varieties of pure honey? Did you analyse the fake honey to find out what was really in it?
Thanks. Good demo. I remember from living in Poland in 60' a pencil test. All you need to do is spread the honey drops on the skin using a soft "B" or copy pencil - if the honey becomes colored, we can be 100% sure that it is not real. Basically we are talking about added sugar into honey.
Two bottles upside down suddenly and check each bottoms. The bottom of pure honey is no difference but the bottom of fake one has some substance of sugar you can see !!
This test is not reliable, because when i harvested the honey uesterday and try this test, it was all opposite .i think depending on the weather when it is harvested, during wet season is expecting to have more moisture
I tried several of the tests. They worked great, especially the toothpick burn test. The jar of honey I suspected to be impure definitely was. But be careful... the boiling honey dripped from the toothpick to the hand that was holding the lighter 😵🥴 Try not to make the same mistake. Thanks for the info though! Next time I will be more careful .
I doubt your experiment sir coz you got brown honey and light one and made the light one fake which is not fair at least you would have brought honey if the same color More research and work needed
Depending on the type of flower that the nectar is collected, the honey can come in different sweetness levels. Plus. what about the presence of added water? Can it be detected by taste only?
@@VoiceOfPeopleToday I love honey and eat many types. Usually I can tell if it is genuine or not. I would not know about the water content, but I can taste the added glucose in most of the cases.
Correct po kayo palit ko ug 2 bottle honey pure honey at fake honey na prove jud nko lahi jud ang resulta sa pure ug fake ang fake honey dali ra siya malanay ang pure kay dili jud siya malanay create jud siya circle
Can't see much of a difference between the real and fake tests?
Same unfortunately, the difference in colors doesn't help.

Try to read the video's captions.
Burning was helpful though

You mean HB pencil ?
@@safecyber7996 I couldn't see any difference except colour
It's depends on how the honey mix with additive and what additive is used
no discernable difference. congrats you got either pure honey in both jars, or none.
Thanks for your hard work first time I understand the difference between real and fake honey.
Thanks
i see no difference with the water test.
one has a lighter color that's the difference.
*Thanks for helping out.*
Keep up the good work!
Depends if the beekeeper supplemented his bees with sugar water. 90% do that. Does it make it fake honey? It was made by bees, right?
hmmmm I tried it with honey from my beehive. It would not burrn at all. It only melted. Whats that mean?
Your bees making honey with water 😂
Pure honey
I was dubious about some of these tests too
Where did you buy real honey ?
You used the lighter color one for the fake honey. It is difficult to detect any significant differences because of it
You can also just check the ingredients label. It will say high fructose corn syrup if fake honey. Also buy from a local bee keeper and not the store.
Great video was just wondering this! Wonder if the one on the right is the sprouts brand lol wouldnt doubt it being impure

Thanks for letting me know
The Background Music Is Heavenly!😅
How can you tell 'raw' honey from honeys that are sold as 'raw honey'?
Thanks for the input. Will investigate and try to make a video about that too

Very interesting, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it

Exactly
Taste it, the simplier method. I can immediately tell if there is sugar in it or not by the taste.

You are the bees knees. Winnie the Pooh would be happy with you. If only there was a test for lab grown or petri dish chicken.
Thank you
Thank you sir for experiment done.
Keep both in freezer. Sugar crystals would form in the impure honey. Period!
What if the fake has no added sugar but there's added water (and other materials besides sugar) ?
pure honey crystalize also because of glucose
❌ totally wrong
Most beekeepers feed sugar water so even "real" honey can have sugar in it. I call it frankenhoney.

Thank you so mouch 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
May nabili Po akong honey lasang alak sya Sabi nung tindera ganun dw Po talaga yon habang tumatagal pero Hindi dw Po yon sira totoo ba ?
It's the first time I hear about honey flavored wines. I don't have much information actually.
Honey can have different colors basing on the flowers and seasons
Thanks

Two fake honey, no one it's pure 2:58
Damn it... I just bought a whole effing 1 liter jar of fake honey 🙃
Real honey solidifies after 2 weeks. Natural and not pasteurized.
Chestnut honey doesn't for instance. It really depends on the composition and the type of flower the bees have been fed on.
And whether or not the beek fed his bees sugar water
Great video
amazing
Never put metal spoons into honey.
Why?
The metal can, over time if left in, break down the enzymes in honey.

Almost the same...its a crap test👎
Pati nag tetest nangdadaya hahahaha
❤❤❤
*smells and pants* places
Are bewakoof apne Jo honey lia hai usko tho dek k hi bata sakte hai kounsa pure wala honey hai😂
Just tested mine 😮fake..
If you know someone experienced
Then she/he can tell you if it is fake or not by taste
But all this method is useless
This experiment is not at the level it should be done!!
Jesus loves u
Thank you
poor video
waste of my time.....
