Of course, we all have different musical tastes but to my ear, this is the absolute winner of all guitar pedals. Compatible, reliable, well built, good sounding and affordable. I don't need more then that. The best pedal ever.
@Rafael harich santana legal, meu..
Have mine since i was a kid. (I´m 26 now) . But i never got a nice sound out of it.. no matter which amp, guitar or setting.. :/ Always sounded pretty harsh :(
Tono Shulz... that depends really on your playing style. The SD-1has been around for so long so has the TS-9. You have to play in the aggressive style and use the SD-1 on an already overdriven amp, bluesy rock kinda of playing. Do you have a video of yourself playing?
I'll take an OD-3 over an SD-1 anytime. With the level and drive maxed out on the SD-1 it is nowhere near as full sounding as the OD-3 is. The OD-3 doesn't take away the fullness and i can use it without maxing out the level.
Ha! There's some irony, or absurdity?, in there, having a "Very natural, overdriven tube amp sound" playing through a Roland JC-120, one of the most sterile sounding, solid state amps imaginable.

One of my favorite Boss pedals that remains on my pedal board since 1985!
it does have a nice indie rock sound
Timeless classic. I'd never be without one.
I still have mine which I bought when they first came out after the OD-1 which had no tone control, must be back in the late 70's.
Love the sd-1.........very smooth
This pedal will always have a place on my board...to say it’s versatile is an understatement...
You can never go wrong with a classic pedal!
I just got one and fell in love with it!
I was gonna say I hope Boss pays you for this, until i realized i'm on the Boss channel lmao. Good vid, I love my SD-1 ;)
Many great guitars, guitarists, had missing, effect pedals too.( 1983 year's, still on waiting lists
great pedal had one years ago used to use it for synths then sold it on to a guy in a metal band. it was well used.
Good job, and I like your presentation.
i need more of this music, moar, moar
Ele é meu drive principal.

Tino Schulz Hey, it happens. There are absolutely some setups that compliment or enhance a certain style better than others.

I have both this pedal and ts... but I think sd1 is way better
The Waza Craft version of this pedal is much better. It is expensive but worth it.

Od-2r that's my preferred, but each to their own
Why do these pedals completely roll off the bass end? Terrible!
Neil Aspinall it helps to cut in a band context and keep Amps from going flubby when using as a boost.
Did the Keeley mod and all I can say is stock these are pretty unusable
Hallo ıch möchte auch sod 1
