Thanks from Montréal guy passing vacation here 👍👍
Another awesome tips video!!! Thanks
Aha Haha! Nice Todd!
bro you should charge people for this kind of knowledge. best channel on RUclips 💯
No need to charge...providing information that is beneficial in leading people to catching whoppers is priceless
Thanks for the help today on the Vudu Shad. I'm the guy that asked the price and the sticker was in the bottom corner, doh. Can't wait to fish them.
Good luck with them, they are awesome baits!
Awesome video I just subscribed 😎😎
Nobody would guess stinky bait will do it... thanks Bro....
How much would I have to spend to buy some gear like the one you're giving the example with ??? Or something not crazy expensive but good enough for the snook in Juno ???
The combo in the video would be around $700, it is totally doable for around $200 though
Whats the name of the blank and where can I purchase that exact rod
When do they catch Bonita?
Great channel. New subscriber. Please give specs on rod/reel. Looking for a good pier combo. Thanks and much success!
The rod in the video is a Juno Bait Custom Calstar 550 (9' 30-80lb) paired with a Penn US Narrow Spool Senator spooled with 50lb test mono. For the bigger stuff at the pier consider a conventional rod in the 8-9' length and a reel that can provide adequate drag and handle 30-50lb test line.
@@Junobait12770 Thanks much See you guys soon - best wishes for an outstanding season.
is 80lb mainline overkill? I've seen people fishing 100lb mainline at the pier and just thought 50 was on the light side
When the snook are thick, actively eating, and fired up you can go with the super heavy stuff. Early in the season when the bite is slow it helps to go a little lighter on the line. Not super likely to run into a lot of bigger fish early in the season, most are going to be in the 22-28” range and 50lb is more than adequate; and a lot of time you may need to go lighter.
You’re joking with the 40lb leader right maybe off the beach
What rod and reel is that
9’ Juno Bait Custom with a Penn US Narrow spool Senator
How much would that cost
A combo like this is going to be between $575-$800
I can catch snook and other big fish right or is it more for snook and also thank you for responding
A combo like that will work well for snook, tarpon, big jacks, redfish, etc....not an ideal setup for goliaths.
