I was surprised to see someone sunbathing there (might have been a foreigner). I remember the first time I went to the beach trying to sunbathe in China, somewhere in Haikou. Everyone was covered, an image that grew on me the more time I spent in China, and I felt so out of place I packed my things and just ended up wandering along the city instead, haha
I need to visit the village and learn surfing... and visit Hawaii one day :)
Ah man! My old stomping grounds. I did photo shoot campaigns for Santa Cruz surfboards back in 2009. I was there with Wingnut for a month and visited regularly. That spot was only a couple farming houses before it blew up. Ask anyone that surfs about Brendan Sheridan, Darsea Liu and Monica Guo. Solid crew that started the surf culture in Sanya. 🤘🏼🤙🏼

@@CycOp I was a fan, but people spitting what appears to be blood everywhere was a bit bizarre. But we know China, they love to openly spit anywhere in public, especially on betel nut.
@@f0t0b0y Hahah, same thing in Taiwan, especially for the working class and drivers. I believe it is the lime (the white powdery chemical, not the fruit) that is causing the red color. This is also the main contributor in causing oral cancer.

I reckon you would enjoy a road trip along the East Coast. Heading north from Sydney via Byron Bay, into Queensland; the Gold Coast (surfers paradise), Stradbroke Island, and eventually all the way to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef! Definitely recommend

I am staying in cold here in Canada, we just had snow yesterday,(still snow near June) locked at home watching you walking on the beautiful beach in a sunny day🤩😎watching you having a good time makes me feel better too😀👍

I saw a couple windsurfers out there. .. I tried desperately to find places to rent gear and windsurf in China but very limited success. (Old gear and no wind).
It is like travel with you when watching your video.

Agree with you about this place, can be a bit boring to stay for too long and it’s a bit challenging to find good breakfast spots. We made a video about some other places in Sanya which worth visiting.

You'll probably insult me for saying this but I've got some friendly thoughts for you, you're channel was awesome but then you developed this obsession with Winston and these other bloggers. Your viewers don't care, nobody knows who these guys are or cares. Some of your viewers might know them but you have 122 thousand subscribers and for most of them they have know idea who this Winston guy is, they have nothing against people they don't know. It just comes off as very petty. Get back to that cool matt guy who used to be awesome for appreciating things and for being his own man as he made his own way around Asia. I miss that guy and I don't think I'm alone.

Lol why are you hanged up on that Chinese people cannot swim? The large majority of Chinese cannot swim. That is a fact. You are talking like that is not the case. You are wrong. It is a small minority that actually can swim. So Winston is more right than you are when talking about swiming abilities in China.
