Great video, in the future a quick reason/why/what each of those things were you used would have been helpful. i.e. What is flux for? etc

Thats an unnecessary amount of flux. I would skip the grease as well and just use marine heat shrink(adhesive lined) if you want the extra corrosion protection on an external connection. On a sealed or interior connection just skip it altogether and just use heat shrink. That giant glob of grease is overkill and likely to cause that heat shrink to slide off prematurely. Which is more of a risk than corrosion ever will be.
