- Addendum 2/26/2019: This is the first recording and upload of what came to be A-10C guns only campaign run on ace difficulty. The quality will not be up to par with the rest of the uploads, which were recorded on PC at higher settings at 60fps.
Parts are all speed+maneuverability, gun range+, and gun damage+.
No armor/regen or gun auto-aim parts used.
This took so many attempts that it made every Mihaly fights look like cakewalk. I ended up exploiting the drones' scripted paths where they fly perfectly straight, letting me pump some depleted uranium rounds into them. However, both drones need to be alive to activate the pathing. If one goes down while the other has plenty of health left, then the fight may as well be lost already. Taking them head on is risky as well; their bullets really hurt!
Surprised Wit actually survived in this attempt.
There are also some brief moments where UI will flicker. I paused during those times that I ended up removing to maintain flow.
I will record and post A-10C guns only Ace difficulty run once PC version is released. This run has provided some valuable information that should make the next attempt much easier to deal with.

Bought this game 5 days ago. And just finished the 20th mission. All missions on easy most with the F-15c. I have no desire to put anything like the work in needed to do any of what I have just watched. No ace difficulty, no MGs only, not the A-10c only and definitely not all 3. I can see it's an old video, but fair play congrats. If I end up online hope we don't meet.
Once you realize the ADF11 Micro can be "Shocked" by a gun attack (it throws its aim off center forcing misses), it's not nearly as hard as it seems, throttle down and let it come at you, soak a few bullets and once you get shots on target, the ADF11 is pretty much screwed unless you don't kill it before it passes. Taking down the second of the two ADF-11 RAVEN fighters is harder IMO
Post-stalls also confuse the fuck out of these guys, I Post stalled on one and it responded with a near endless Cobra resulting in a huge damage spike. Also, if you can lure them into the stormclouds... I guess Mihaly didn't like stormclouds, because their AI zonks out as it tries to counter the wind. Another good way to set up huge gun damage bursts.
Gun fighting this mission is a great way to "git gud" even if you have to use Damage regen. Also, the Gun Auto-Aim actually makes it harder to hit air to air targets, at least in my experience. It's more for Air to Ground, or, at worst, Bomber interception/Arsenal Bird

what is replicating an a-10's pilot's reflexes going to do for the ADF-11 drones :v
I knew you can use the A-10 in this mission, but with guns only? That small drone is already hard as it is because of how crazy that thing can move! I was thinking that I want to use the A-10 because of the tight tunnel and I kept crashing into the walls, the ceilings and the ground from flying those fast jets (thought I could beat my fear of flying fast in the tunnel would work).
Anyways, you definitely have my respect!

Well done walkthrough on the Xbox One guns only campaign and if I were to go on Hard and Ace difficulty should I choose A-10C F-35C or mig-21 with 23mm pods
