Aftertaste was amazing, but if i remember correctly they changed it so it is either 1 down or when 5 minutes have passed after activation. As soon as i saw that added i never used it again. Would have been just fine if they increased its rarity.
The way armor worked on launch was amazing because you could naturally regenerate it with StoneCold. So introducing a elixir to regain armor was just scummy. Especially since it is useful but you better pay for them to spend enough to survive boss wipe attacks.
BO4 does have infinite elixirs using process hacker. BO4 mega speedruns are absolutely insane with refresh mint and reign drops making it so you never have to walk normally since you just katana everywhere.
I’m thinking as a high round player, but Secret shopper and Refresh Mint should be higher. Secret works for wonder weapons and lasts so long. And refresh refreshes your specialist, equipment, and most importantly your Dying Wish. Also Lex you’re completely wrong about Power Vacuum not being good for high rounds. Go check out every world record in the All Elixirs category on ZWR and most of them use Power Vac.
Fun fact, join the party actually works like phoenix up. You can revive your downed teammates with all their perks. Did round 100 4 players on ancient evil in the boss fight and used this repeatedly. It's broken

Plus if one guy just popped perkaholic and crate/wall power they could be set up by round 2 and ruin the flow of the game. Why should they bother opening doors/pack-a-punch for everyone else if they don't even need it?

6:55 I wish for COD 2024 Zombie matches are run on server's like multiplayer because my god this elixir makes me so angry with public lobbies in older CODs, you can play solo sure but it'll get boring and perhaps you're the only one among your friends that still plays that iteration of zombie's while their all doing other things. But.. I found this difficult to use in public matches as people *immediately* leave game or close application causing the game to have connection interrupted and abruptly end due to a "lost connection to the host" whenever they down... Someone (some cases the host) goes down and you revive them only for them to look afk once they get up and in the bottom left they get "disconnected" that's close app rage quitting. With the hosts it's more annoying but obvious as in game suddenly everything's frozen and you get "connection interrupted" they don't wanna leave match and cause a host migration to occur so they close application rage quitting the same but so they don't have to hear the rest of the group yell at them on the mic for quitting. When you try to play public matches alot you start to notices these things occur and I've immediately dipped the second connection interrupted pops up at this point. Here's to a slimmer of hope 2024 Zombie's has dedicated server's like MP, Warzone and DMZ
Have to disagree with phantom reload , for weapons with low mags like the magma-gat it’s an extra 33% overall Ammo, pair that with bandalior bandit and you have literally infinite ammo it feels like.
Wasn't expecting to see an Elixir tier list but imo I honestly liked Elixirs more than gobble gums I felt like they were kind balanced and you don't need to pull it from a machine to get it.

Dunno Man, going to the gg machine to pick a randon gum made me feal so more in the game "world" than the elixir pop UP from time to time, it was like getting a 5 perk or a wall gun, and you could decide if you want to be op or casual (I never went to perkaholic but went for 5 perks instead of 4)

The only thing bo3 has on the bo4 system is the ability to keep them by quitting application. You earn them way faster on bo4. Especially ones you use. I get ones I use on bo4 faster than I use them. It’s nowhere near that on bo3. I’m lucky to get one single cache back after a round 100 on bo3 but I’ll get 6 of them on bo4 for the same round 100. Not to mention the contracts and 2x nebulium.
I'm guessing this is a tier list for casuals cause if you're going for records the rankings would be waaayyyy different Also if you want good perks use secret sauce and get bad perks then pop the perkup or perkaholic or reign and then switch out the bad perks from your sauces. All elixirs that pick up people are trash since they don't save extra perks so might as well just pick them up normally or use staff and bring other elixirs
Also thinking powervac does nothing with how the spawn manipulation works on bo4 is hilarious. #1 powervac #2 secret shopper #3 reign drops and #4 refreshment or alchemical antithesis.
I honestly prefer the classics being really good compared to the megas. I don’t like the idea of having OP things behind paywalls. Which was my issue with gobblegums in BO3. Yeah you could earn them for free but not as easy as buying them.

Funny enough, in the reaper's collection bo3 mod, the elixers that are in the mod as gobblegums are better than their bo4 counterparts.

I spent over 5,000 plasma & im max prestige level 1000 & have never gotten a perkaholic. I have every elixir besides that.

Bought bo4 recently on pc, and modding to have unlimited plasma for elixirs, this game is 5X better like this.
The reason why the classics are better is because they cool down. Megan’s can be used every round, I think temporal has a 20 minute cooldown
Infinite Ammo drop was also in Exo Zombies
I think some of these elixirs wouldn’t be as bad if you could use two at a time or if the elixir effects were double the strength

Bo4 elixirs are setup in a way to where you don’t need to spend money on the game to get crucial gameplay benefits.
