- And after showing you the RS4 Avant Competition and the RS5 Sportback Competiton, last but not least of the trio, is the RS5 Coupé Competition. Hop onboard on a ride in the Tango red beauty on the mountain roads of Malaga in Spain.
For those of you that forgot, RS5 Competition pack is:
- The car is 8 kg / 17.6 lbs lighter
- A completely newly developed quattro sport differential. A new data set in the control unit with changed parameters switches the emphasis to the rear- Updated software in the transmission unit
- New optional coilover suspension that lowers the car up to 20mm more than the stock RS5- A new RS sports exhaust system plus, used for the first time, to improve the sound experience- Reduced insulation between engine compartment and the interior - Matte carbon lightweight exterior details- Improved acceleration for the RS5 by 0.1sec and the RS4 Avant by 0.2 sec- Shortened braking distance from 100kmh by 2 meters- Improved top speed is now 290km/h- Dynamic steering ratio fixed at 1:13.1- New 20” competition pack wheels- Dinamica / Pearl kappa interior material that is 45 percent recycled PET fibres

I just lowered my 2023 RS5 Competition an additional 10mm to the lowest factoring setting and... it is Wunderbar. Best RS5, probably the last of its kind.

@@Auditography They are beautiful I have to say. Do you know offset ? 22 ? I think they are better looking than the milled design and most likely they are as light as the 5 flag design (11.8kg) , still would prefer to see some more aggressive looking wheels (I'm picky lol)

Only the RS4 in the UK, and only the RS5 (coupe and Sportback) for North America. The UK only gets one configuration and one colour).

Fantastic mods. Now the only thing they forgot is to add 60-70hp. Come on Audi. I love you with all my heart, but the power on all of these cars desperately needs to be bumped!

@@Auditography Yes, next Gen. But I’m sure the car will gain an additional 200-300kg with a ridiculous hybrid setup, and offset the whole thing once again. I wish they’d focus on making the cars lighter, as much as they focus on pushing a big horsepower number in people’s faces. This ridiculous obsession of ever higher and higher horsepower while ignoring every other aspect of the car is getting ridiculous, while the cars grow into ever-heavier pigs. The new C63 e is perfect example of this.

If they gave 50hp more to equal m4’s comp hp Audi would easily SMOKE bmw. Now BMW fanboys saying that BMW is faster but guys BMW is LITTLE faster cause it has more hp, with the same hp Audi wins

That is up to Audi USA to answer.
I don’t think you have ever had alcantara. It is horrible, wheel gets yucky after 4-5 months. Too many USA buyers were paying for leather wheel retrofit

We only get the model that requires the touch sensitive hands on detection, therefore Audi only offers this with the round alcantara wheel (you would need to retrofit an RS6 flat bottom alcantara wheel in order for the hands on detection to work).
