Ren is a big supporter of the reaction community, so if you get a copyright claim just appeal it and his management will get it lifted.
He has loads of songs, I have yet to hear a bad one, and he doesn’t really have any genre he fits in.

Us Renegades will welcome you with open arms, things to be aware of: the Ren rabbit whole is deep and you will lose yourself in it, this viedo is entirely live, and shot in one shot, no cutting, a lot of his videos are like this, also a completely independent artist, no record companies involved. If you want to continue on with Ren, i'd advise the Hunger or Animal Flow for his great rapping, "The Tales" trilogy for his story-telling, or Money Game parts 1, 2, and 3 for his magnum opus.

Did not expect Hi Ren on my Blind Wave bingo card, but I'm glad it happened. Ren is a phenomenal performer and at the very least you guys should also see:
"The Tale of Jenny and Screech" and "Money Game Pt 1,2 &3". Love you guys, and a big fan of Ren, too.
I'm thankful there's artists like Ren and NF who are talking about things like mental health and not just tropes.
Eric, if you're not familiar with NF, there's another gem for you. He's often suggested on Ren videos for similar subject matter. Lots of personification of emotions.

Ren is one of the most incredible artists of our time! Please check out more of his work. Especially his Money Game trilogy, The Tale of Jenny and Screech (the whole 13 minute shebang) and his collabs with Chinchilla are breathtaking! Big ups for this reaction!

Ren's backstory he had lyme's disease but it was completely misdiagnosed, so not only did the disease wreek havoc, but also the treatments for the misdiagnosis. He sings about it in SickBoy.
The Tale of Jenny and Screech (complete trilogy) is difficult to listen to, but is masterful in storytelling.
He was also had a band, The Big Push, which is alot more fun, especially busking on the streets of Brighton.
Like "The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" is just him, and his bandmates on street corner absolutely killing it.

Yehp, apparently he performed and recorded this live, 4 times, and then for the video he just used the best video bits from the different camera angle. He had a little mic on his gown(by his neck) and his guitar was plugged in.

You need to watch "The Tale of Jenny and Screech" by Ren. It's a three part story in a similar style to "Hi Ren" and it's just as good if not better!

I'm SO glad Ren is making his way across the world like he is...the world NEEDS people and artists like Ren now more than ever.
Ren is a genius, a rare talent. He has survived a horrific illness and is only now getting appropriate treatment.
He plays many instruments, writes poetry, songs, scenarios etc.
Follow his career with his great busking band, The Big Push; his amazing collabs with Chinchilla etc; his incredible story telling in The Tale of Jenny and Screech (and Violet), Money Game trilogy etc.
Go to his RUclips channel and listen to his stories etc. He has made people's lives better
His range is seemingly endless.
I watch y’all’s tv and movie reactions all the time, but I hadn’t checked out your music reactions yet. I have to give y’all so much props on the editing and format you have going on in this. The three stacked to the side during the video was super cool, and you having the lyrics up the way you did was brilliant. And then I dig how you have the background from the music video for a backdrop in the discussion. Just super well done all around you guys! And a great discussion! This song caught me so off guard the first time I heard it, it really is a masterpiece.

Can't say how excited I am to see you guys find Ren! Whether you do any more of his stuff on camera I highly recommend going through his discography there is so much emotion, experience, skill and talent in his music
Ren was mis-diagnosed and had Lime Disease for years from getting bitten by a tic. He got the wrong treatment and had all these issues because of it. This went on for around 10 years before they found out the correct problem. That is how he got the psychosis and other issues.

The mental struggle is very real and Ren knows it and deals with it everyday,I believe a lot of us can relate
We can relate. All of us. But I know for a fact that what most people have suffered through and been mistreated for has not came close to make them bedridden for ten years and in deep psychosis for years. He has F ing been through it, for all of us and has came out such an amazing man.
Funny you mentioning Harry Mack, he did a tribute to Ren on a livestream. There's a video floating around of Ren reacting to that.

Harry Mac did a freestyle for Ren. Ren and his videographer start over if there's a mistake, I've heard it was four takes to finish. Ren says they got kicked out of the space afterwards so they were stuck with what the had anyway.
Ren is such an amazingly talented lyricist, musician, and performer! Definitely recommend checking out/reacting to his other songs!

What a wonderful reaction . I first heard this song in Feb of 2023 and am now a die hard Ren fan. Love his art, his music , his humor ,his outlook integrety, vulnerability and his character. The Tales of Jenny and Screech are in his own top 5 creations, and the Money Game Trilogy is well worth your time. Ren and Cinchilla together in Chalk Outlines live. Is pure magic.

One of the things that makes Ren so amazing is so many of his music videos he records live and does in one take. The best example of that is in The Tale of Jenny and Screech that others have recommended. It is an emotional and beautiful rabbit hole to go down once you discover Ren. In my opinion, one of the most important messages in this song is the dismissal of the supernatural.
Mental illness is a human condition and it requires human solutions. When people characterize it as being supernatural the fight becomes impossible. How can someone suffering from such a thing think they can beat an all-powerful, eternal, immortal, supernatural entity?
Telling people suffering from such things that it's a "demon" or other such nonsense can only ever disarm them completely.
I love Ren for doing this. It's such an important thing to bring these problems down to the human level and make it surmountable.

Dude, you’ve just started a massive journey. All REN’s stuff is varied and excellent.
The thing to remember about this is that he wrote it, he played it, remembered all the lyrics, acted as the characters, and most impressively, it’s one take. Most of his are. He does multiple live takes and pick the best. He has a lav mic on.
Just go check out his catalog. It’s all great. Some is stories like this (Jenny and Screech Trilogy). Others are more rap based. I don’t care for rap, but all his stuff is good. He’s extremely talented.

I think you guys did a great job with this. I admit I was quite nervous that you just wouldn't be able to relate. You seem more analytical than artistic, more reasoned than emotional, more categorical than metaphorical, in your general work on RUclips. But I was wrong about you and about how well they lyrics would punch through. For those of us more artistic types the struggle in this song is just heartwrenching and all-too-familiar. I really thought you guys did a good job with this and I'm impressed that you actually liked it.
