  • In this LONG video, I jump in and really get down to business.
The ultimate project to be completed:
    Two Linked Hearts
    What else you'll see/learn:
How to find the center of a boondoggle strand
How to start a Square/Box stitch
How to insert a new strand of boondoggle into an existing project
How to do the Brick/Double Box stitch
How to do the Superbrick/Triple Box stitch
How to split one project stitch into two smaller project stitches
How to start the Circle/Barrel stitch
How NOT to fail at doing a Circle/Barrel type of stitch
How to combine two smaller project stitches into one larger project stitch
How to drop a stitch (or stop using a strand to convert to a smaller stitch)
How to link two hearts (or multiple different projects)
All this in 42 minutes of High Definition, AWESOME quality video commentary!
I've been reading the comments and have made other improvements, including:
Talking at my more "normal" tone of voice, so as to appear less "Mr. Rogersy" or "Creepy" for those of lesser brain capacities. (hehe)
Talking a bit quicker, so as to be a bit more understandable, and put many fewer people to sleep. (haha)
There's no music track in the background, but you CAN hear other things going on, as I live in a very busy household (5 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and my ever-loving wife)!
I had to capture this video three different times, just to get the best looking video; one that's focused on the actual work and not the table surface underneath, or the hangnail on my pinky finger, etc. (hoho)
Next video will be one showing how to create the Zig-Zag CorkScrew!

I watched this video step by step rather than all at once and when I got to the point of finishing the two "horn-like protrusions" you had realized you 'goofed' and said it would be better to use a square knot. Some sort of notice in the video description would have been nice. I have to start entirely anew which honestly just makes me want to melt this gimp together and use it as a door stopper.

To do just one, I'd suggest between 4 and 5 feet each for all strands. 4 feet if your normally finished stitches are tight and small, but 5 feet if they tend to be loose and big.

I'm confused on the split off..when u first said use circle stitch it was because it messes one of the strings in the middle up. U did it over in square you steing isn't messed up bt mine is. How did u flip to square without messing that middle string up??

Yep, they're 4 feet long, but remember, I fold them in half, so what you see is only 2 feet long.

My apologies for that. It's not that the one using circle looks entirely bad, but I think the square one looks better.
