Hi, not sure if my snow foam cannon is different to yours but when I close my adjustment that reduces the water flow not the chemical being used. So fully closed is pure chemical. Keep up the reviews great to watch.
I bought the auto smart snow foam pro the best product I ever bought, by far the thickest I have used with a brilliant shine. I use 100 ml to 900 ml water.
Hi just found your channel last night, i really enjoy your videos, and subscribed! Keep the good content coming! You will be seeing me a lot in the comments section. I am a big time detailing enthusiast.
I would think a local dealership could do either of these at competitive pricing. I've always found the Autosmart guys in the vans helpful and not pushy into buying products that maybe you don't need. In fact the last time I wanted something he sold me a different cheaper option that did the same job
Yeah, or in other words, 120:1 when the solution hits the car. It was probably something like 1/7th of that in the first try of this video, because the lance itself dilutes it with water from the pressure washer.
I use 100 mil to 900 mil water and turn it up full on the foam gun and it comes out thick and stays on the vehicle for at least 10 mins. Ultra Mousse is caustic whereas Snowfoam Pro is pH balanced, will not remove wax or harm paint protections. Suitable for use with Ceramic coatings - and it smells great too. 👍
Think people in the comments forget that just because it doesn’t eat dirt it’s rubbish, in fact thicker non aggressive foams and sprays are better suited to say a classic car that does little miles a year so it gets the odd bit of road dirt and mainly dust and yes in this industry dust is considered abrasive not forgetting that the way cars used to get painted means you can’t just throw cleaners at it
I am a Detailing Enthusiast/addict, I live in Miami, Florida. I've wanted to get my hands of BH products for a while. Bilt Hamber only has one Distributor in the USA which frankly is not well thought out. Last week paid $59 for a 5L jug of Bilt Hamber Auto Foam +$18 shipping. It came out to almost $80 which is kinda crazy, but this is the true mark that separates the real enthusiasts from the weekend warriors. LOL :D Jon from Forensic Detailing channel did a amazing review and shootout of snow foams and it is VERY obvious BH AutoFoam is CLASS LEADING without question! Can't wait to test it out!- At least it will last me a few years so there is good value there.
Late to the party but I get this for £20 cash with my AS Rep, by far the most effective and value for money showdowns I have used 👍🏻 much prefer ultra mousse over snowfoam pro!
Tbh, i get my Ultra Mousse at a similar price to the bilt hamber stuff... Guess it depends how nice you are to your rep (or how much/often you spend with them).
Bilt Hamber is 200ml to 800ml water so Autosmart mousse works out a bit cheaper. I use BH but it just doesn't cling, a lot of it is off the car and drying within a five minutes.
@@gingerphil it's not designed to be foamy or clingy and it works withing five mine. Also dilution is 200ml to 1000ml so one bottle topped up does two or three cars. It's strength is out right cleaning power which it does fantastic. Was rated no one on forensic detailing.
Mat I’ve watched these guys at the cheap car washes and it’s auto smart they all seem to use and this makes sense now because they don’t use the foam as a pre wash they spray the foam on and rather than let it dwell and pull off the dirt they use it as soap and start scrubbing with a sponge so it’s these places this product will be aimed at
I use 1:10 ratio and I couldn't even get any foam half close to what you get @ 1:19 ratio in your video. Could you think of what could be the possible outcome? btw I currently using Meguiars Gold Class and it is 100 times better than the snow foam pro so my presssue washer and the foam bottle shouldn't be the issue
@@TheDetailingSpace I was using the Meguiars Gold Class as a snow foam and was ok with the result but then I saw the Auto Smart Snow foam pro and looks much better so bought one and first I was using 1:19 ratio and pretty much come out like water so I tried 1:8 and still nowhere near the Meguiars which is strange
Do you know what size of needle/muzzle your foamgun has? You could try swapping it out to get better performance on making foam with your specific power powerwasher due to what kind working-pressure it has.
Hi Mat, nice channel. Wrt snow foam dilution ratios, you need to take into account that the foam gun will add water and dilute the mix in the bottle even further. Watch these videos from Alfie: ruclips.net/video/vGVGldDom0w/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/KiiOa5KWynU/видео.html They explain how to measure the dilution ratios for your foam gun and pressure washer as it will change in each case. I hope it helps.
Had 5 litres of this sat on a shelf in the garage, got it from a truck show for £25 off the autosmart stand! Need to give this a try!
Nice 👍

Hi Mat,nice review on this Autosmart Snow Foam,it clings to the bodywork quite well.
Thank you 👍

Yeah, the rep I have is spot on. Can usually chat to him for a good while too.
I think the 120:1 dilution is the dilution coming out of the lance it’s self not the bottle
You're probably right 👍

Yes, it does have a bit of fragrance to it.... Might try a slightly stronger mix next time

Bilt hamber auto foam all the way and cheaper

£42 is expensive. Bilt hamber auto foam is super cheap and is one of the best I've used and my go to pre wash
Can get it much cheaper than £42 from a rep though
Bilt Hamber is 16 quid for 5 liters, cleans better than anything on the market. No brainer
@@TheDetailingSpace I've always found the reps exspensive
Surely its contact ratio? Ie you get the dilution as on the back based on how much draw you get from the lance.
I may have to try that calculation
@@TheDetailingSpace this video might be helpful too. Let us know how you get on. 👍ruclips.net/video/ygp7TkVqK9w/видео.html

Why pay those prices when Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam is £18.99 for 5LTR and is probably the best "cleaning" snow foam available.
Tbh, i get my Ultra Mousse at a similar price to the bilt hamber stuff... Guess it depends how nice you are to your rep (or how much/often you spend with them).
Autosmart reps are very picky :(

I've been using the foam neat? Is that wrong?
I was speaking to my AutoSmart rep last week, and he said a lot of people he sells to use 100ml with 900ml of water.... Going to give it another tey

Bilt hamber is far cheaper, and does a mega cleaning job, don't know why people bother paying more.
I get this as cheap as Bilt Hamber tbf

I dilute 700ml pro 4300ml water
buy from ure autosmart rep way cheaper than amazon 35 pounds way over the top
I guess it depends on the rep. I get some good prices on some of my key items 👍
