I swear.... Brooke can do whatever she want at this damn job... People can come see her whenever, while she's on the clock, she can take a leave of absence whenever she want... WHAT KIND OF LAB IS THIS???
Note that it is everyone else who keeps showing up at Brooke's place of work. She's not inviting them, and she tends to get visited vs. Brooke running around town to everyone else's workplaces.
Seems to me Stephanie, that you and Eric were having issues way before Brooke was introduced to you & your family. Take responsibility for your own mistakes made in your marriage. Eric needs to do the same I'm sure it wasn't all Stephanie's coldness that made him stray. I also seem to remember that there was another woman before Beth showed back up in their lives (since college days); Margo. So Brooke haters need to remember that too. Stephanie just needs someone to pin all her problems on. Why not a girl from the other side of the tracks.
Stephanie had been wary of Margo and suspected that Margo was trying to seduce Eric. But Margo and Eric never had an affair (Margo and Ridge had once been lovers). Eric only saw Margo as friend and great assistant (and someone he could talk to/ with when upset about his wife or regretting that he had abandoned his college love without giving that woman any explanation). Until Beth, Eric had seen his work as "escape" and "distraction" from his marriage.
Brooke and Stephanie, two sides of the same (broken/kaput) coin. Brooke couldn't stop blaming Stephanie for the end of her relationship with Ridge and that Ridge had chosen Caroline over Brooke (Stephanie has poisoned Ridge against me.) Stephanie couldn't stop badmouthing Brooke even when she was out of her life (and had Margo, Felicia and others shaking their head about that hate for someone supposedly gone from her life). Stephanie still has no idea that Brooke is involved with Eric, but Stephanie feels the need to go and butt heads with Brooke , to blame Brooke that Eric gained permission to divorce Stephanie and move on (from the malaise of his marriage).
As always you provide some insightful commentary on this 25 year saga with two disordered individuals. They just couldn't keep away from each other, even though their mere presence was toxic to one another. No sympathy for either of them!
Stephanie stalking Brooke again. Brooke should call security and have her thrown out again. Stephanie blamed Brooke for her marital problems, but Eric had already asked her for a divorce once before when the show first started before Brooke came into the picture. Brooke should throw a bucket of water on Stephanie and watch her melt like the wicked witch of the west in The Wizard of Oz. "What a world, what a world."
But was it not exactly Brooke's interference and pushing her mother to Eric that prompted that first divorce attempt. Her mother did not want to get involved with Eric. But Brooke kept oh pushing her and manipulating Eric. She came so often to Erics office to talk him into, that he started seen Beth. Beth than just gave in. So, it's true what stephanie said. And Stephanie's ears must be ringing all the time, because all what Brooke and Eric do is to talk about stephanie. So she might be sensing it. And that's why she is go to her. Stephanie is spot on about everything she ever said about Brooke and the hoogan gang.
@@andream5998 Not the first time. Stephanie told Ridge that she and Eric were talking about getting divorced before Brooke ever met Stephanie at the party in 1987. He never divorces her when there is not a new woman in the picture. The first divorce ended almost before it happened as settled. He could have been there for the family without staying with Stephanie. But he broke it of with Beth, because he realized you sometimes can't go back in time. Angela was such a lame excuse for him to break up with Beth. He was bored with Beth. And he just after that break up said, I loved Beth. Past tense. So he did not love her anymore. Angela was just an excuse, not really the reason.
@@andream5998 Their marriage was in trouble from the start of the show. If Eric loved Stephanie so much, neither Beth nor Brooke would have been able to break them up. Happily married men do not leave their wives. It was also stated at the beginning of the episodes that Eric and Stephanie were rarely having sex and Eric was frustrated. That does not sound like a happily married couple.
@@joyr36 yes, there problems. He never wanted to work on them. Instead he used lame excuses to be cold to Stephanie. I haven't said they were happyily married at this point. She wasn't happy either. Stephanie and Brooke are so similar in a bizarre way: they both blame everyone but themselves for what happens to them. Victims of their own egos. But their enmity had to be created and sustained to justify Brooke's marriages and relationships with so many males in or connected to the Forrester family - Eric, Ridge (multiple times), Thorn, Deacon, Nick... Stephanie is not really body-shaming Brooke, but the pregnancy has to be revealed, and since S wouldn't comment on the glow on B's fcae, it has to be the weight thing. Brooke didn't destroy Stephanie's marriage but S can't be blamed for thinking she played a huge role - Brooke enabling Beth's relationship with Eric. Yes Ridge you deserved that so did your Mum. Im so happy for Brooke and Cridge cant shame Eric and Brooke for what they have already done and started in this family.
Seeing this episode, brings back the memories of watching them all those years ago. Team brooke all the way here. I know it was messy her getting involved with Eric but Eric treated brooke like a queen compared to ridge, he just used her and then tossed her aside. Eric was gentle and tender with brooke,a real gentleman. She deserved it. And serves ole Stephanie right after the way she trampled over brooke. I just loved how Stephanie blamed brooke for her failed marriage and how brooke stared her down knowing she was the other woman in Eric's life. Justice served. And how Stephanie taunted brooke for weight gain. When she's secretly carrying Eric's child. So good back then. By the way, Caroline and ridge had 0 chemistry together. Ridge and brooke had great chemistry but loved the way Eric treated brooke.
Eric treated Brooke's mother nice before Brooke and Brooke didn't care. Beth loved Eric and was ready to give them another chance. Brooke should've stepped aside and given her mother the chance to see where it would go. Brooke was nothing but a gold digger. Ridge had the most chemistry with Caroline than anyone else he was involved with - including Brooke and Taylor.

He cam marry his brothers ex wife but never his father's ex wife a great sin only Brooke did this no morals
Thorne shouldn't have made that decision about not telling his mother about Brooke by himself he needed to consult with someone else about this after all he started this mess in the beginning by telling his father about what Stephanie had done without thinking how his father would react to the news.
This! Thorne should've kept his mouth shut!
As I recall, Steph was very happy with Brooke on the first day she met her 😄
As help at the catering? Stephanie didn't pay Brooke much attention then.
When Stephanie later met Brooke, she had even forgotten that Beth had introduced Brooke as her daughter.
When Eric went to the Logan house, Stephanie not for a minute thought that Eric might meet Mrs. Logan but instantly suspected Eric to have an affair with Caroline's friend, Brooke.
@@mara4450 Brooke was very complimentary to Steph at that party and Steph was very impressed. It all went downhill quickly of course but it wasn't until Brooke started hanging around that she became suspicious of her being a social climber.
And later >>> Episode 0109 (20 August 1987) >>> Brooke’s first visit to Forrester Creations, to keep Thorne updated on progress with Caroline’s case; Stephanie (commenting on Brooke to Eric with a broad, sincere smile): “She’s a lovely girl, isn’t she?”
@@DonaldTaft
Okay. We just see it differently.
Stephanie smiled and thanked Brooke when Brooke made a compliment about the house.
But Brooke hadn't done anything yet for Stephanie to be impressed. (had just asked if they had enough napkins).
Stephanie wasn't easy to be impressed. Even Beth for all her excellent work only got that praise:" Dinner was adequate. Your boss said I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. I would appreciate it if you would serve the brandy".
@@mara4450 Yes, but Steph's comment to Felicia was that she'd hated Brooke since the day she met her, but she obviously didn't hate her until later... it was just a normal exaggeration on Steph's part that I was picking up on as a joke.
I don’t understand Thornes need or desire to protect Brooke.
Wait for a few more episodes and watch Thorne tell his mother who Eric is going to be marrying.😳
They are friends he cares about her..but he would tell Stephanie soon
now that he knows she's pregnant he probably won't keep her secret now
He marries Brooke too later 🤣
Stephanie is right. The problems escalated further when Brooke entered their lives. (I'm not saying there hasn't been problems before her entrance into the Forrester clan)
before Brooke, Lots of issues.
There wouldn't be if, Stephaine had been really nice to her, accepted her with Ridge if Caroline hadn't gone after Ridge.
Then there be no Eric and Brooke but noooo Steph couldn't stop being mean to Brooke, needling her. Steph never stops, so its her fault Eric is with Brooke.
Even years later with the Belief formula, Brooke was ready to sign off the formula to Forrester, but NO, Stephanie had to see Brooke, needle her, say ha ha, Ridge doesn't love you, he just got you to sign the contract (except Ridge took wrong copy)
So Steph and her mean ,bitchy self messed everything up!!
@@bonniek5331 Regardless, I'm still team Stephanie. Many don't see it. Stephanie merely fights for everything she believes in, but I will admit by saying her methods were extreme.
@@bonniek5331 she didn't have to be nice to someone she didn't like nor pretend. Brooke is like a cancer, she metastasized in the Forrester family
Stephanie should have been focused on her marriage and Eric instead of her grown children's lives.
1.55 Brooke "Stephanie! ".
Stephanie "Brooke!" Ahaha
Brooke looks so beautiful.
Isn't it a bit odd in the writing that Ridge isn't grossed out by the fact his ex girlfriend has been sleeping with his Father??? You would be horrified, not calmly concerned about the implications for your Mother, poor writing there in my opinion
@@campgalore absolutely ... Ridge's cool response to his father dating his ex girlfriend is shocking ... he should have been livid with anger and feel betrayed
Serioulsy??!! Stephanie starts her rant against Brooke by picking on her for humming and being in a good mood???
And how quickly has Stephanie forgotten how much she was rooting for Ridge' s and Brooke' s baby to be born seeing it as an " instrument" not a human necessary to keep Caroline away frkm Ridge... Except for that moment when she saw Brooke as " useful" , she has always treated her as second class and beneath her. For those reasons alone, she makes it extremely difficult to want to stay in her corner throughout her divorce ordeal...
Eric is expanding to fill Brooke's needs.
Lol!
@@donkeygospel6 oh my gosh 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Thorne and Ridge you are gonna have a little sister

oh Stephanie is in a very bad situation she must be informed quickly this conspiracy must end thank god Ridge had the wisdom to think of his mother best interest keeping her in the dark is wrong
Excellent episode ... very good performances by all artistes
Brooke should have called security on Stephanie. Get the heck out of my office lady. How about he is leaving you because he never loved you. Geeze
And Brooke is more responsible than you think, steph. You will find out soon.
See how conniving Brooke is
You can't keep a man that doesn't want to be kept. Period. Definitely not Brooke's fault, she never signed a marriage certificate with Stephanie, Eric did. Brooke absolutely owes Stephanie nothing.
Brooke has her own fan club and groupies (Ridge, Caroline and Stephanie); that comes to the lab to see her. Brooke? You're a rockstar!
"You've gotten chubby" ISTG, Stephanie is my fighter
Brooke has absolutely no reason whatsoever too be guilty over anything Stephanie and Eric's marriage has been doomed from the start from the beginning till the end of there marriage
Music at 11mins mark is wonderful.
Stephanie realises that she's in love ... no, obsessed ... with Brooke, and needs to go see her to get closure.
They are this show's most iconic supercouple

yall saying that Brooke is obsessed with the Forrester family i see that whole family is obsessed with her how they going in and out her job and Stephanie blaming her about her marriage her marriage had problems before Brooke
Everyone blames someone else, nothing new. 🙈The older the worse. 😅

@@trinit2108 🤣🤣🤣 love it!! So true. The whole show is based on the premise that’s it’s never their fault. I wish my life was that easy to point the finger at others…
Stephanie needs to stop dwelling on the past with Brooke rehashing everything with Brooke and being cruel to Brooke
How is Eric and Beth's affair Brooke's fault 🤯. Stephanie is tripping
She lost her marbles
Question is, is it ok for ridge to marry his brother thorns ex wife but it’s not ok for their father Eric to marry ridge’s ex girl friend Brook? Common now 😂
Brooke why didn't you just call security again? Or cause a "lab accident" that the intruder got caught in?🤣
"It's Brooke Logan." is there another Brooke in their lives that they need to mention last names in this instance?
That's rude to tell somebody that they have gotten "chubby"
Hmm Brooke is chubby and has an engagement ring and Stephanie still hasn’t figured it out? Nit buying that bad piece of script writing.😠
Seems for a moment their Jeff had forgotten his lines lol
Stephanie is like a physic reader! She can see thru anyone n anything just by looking
Well, yeah. That is easy when you see yourself in a person.
Let me think about, how did that work with Clarke and Angela? 😁
@@ireyonmoya That ability seems to be lacking, working at times but doesn't at other times.
She didn't see through Angela and the caretaker Todd. Stephanie also didn't see through Beth for a long time.
And recently she seemed to have been right about that Ruth Carter woman having an affair with a married man - just not Stephanie's husband.
Cause she's very manipulative, people like that always have to be suspicious of others
Stephanie's biggest failure/misreading of a person ever, might have been that lawyer Andy in 2007.

Stephanie encouraged him to go after Brooke - and then faced everyone's wrath when that guy then raped Brooke.
And here we have characters quickly changing their mind:
Caroline: I would stay out of it and would not talk to Thorne or your sisters about it
- Thorne knows? Maybe you should talk to Thorne then and not your dad.
____
Thorne: Ridge, it wasn't my responsibility. Dad's personal life is his business. Ridge, I am sure it caught both of them off guard.
We can't tell mother.
Ridge: We have to tell mother. She is only cooperative because she doesn't know that it is Brooke and thinks they can have a friendship after the divorce. Brooke, she is pregnant. Mother has to know about that. She will feel betrayed if we don't tell her.

Okay, you better take special note of each brother's POV, because in the next episodes that will quickly change.
Changing sl. They almost got married, close call??
Stephanie wanted them together and married so to keep Caroline!ine and Ridge apart.
Guess Felicia doesn't know about shooting.
Why Stephanie do you have to see her you only make things worse ever time!!!
I love Felicia’s jacket.

Somehow it’s BROOKE’S fault that Eric is a cheating dog?
Yes that is the narrative on this show. Always the woman’s fault and the men hold no accountability lol
Ridge has a lot of NERVE. They are all hypocrites. I’m glad for the sweet revenge on Stephanie
Even just the telephone conversation between Eric and Brooke are really icky.
Icky is a really good word to describe Eric and Brooke’s relationship. Mr Eric is a predator and Brooke..well delusional. No wonder Rick turns out the way he does on the soap years later.
Yeah I don’t get a good feeling when I see Brooke with Eric 🤢🤢

Caroline's and Ridge's detective work was entertaining.

11.17 It is none of your business Ridge.
I am shocked Stephanie, a person so tactful like you would tell someone they've gotten chubby? A person so full of class?
Steph was as ghetto as they come. This image of "class" and "elegance" that Stephanie presented to the world was all facade. Money doesn't buy class.
@@tropposteve4878 She could act class well, but her other side came out easily because she is incredibly impatient and out of control.

Ridge must have not been in love with Brooke. He sure didn't have much of a reaction about his ex-fiance banging his father and getting her pregnant.

It took time but finally Ridge's instinct are at it now
These two have been sneeking and playing all of you especially Stéphanie
Ridge jealousy is showing
I see that Stephanie and Caroline choose to lie at will and blame everyone else but themselves. Birds of a feather will ever flock together. And NO, lady, she did nothing that you didn't push her to do, therefore, you are the one being tormented, especially because you're the one seeking her out.

Where will she drop in.? Certainly in the laboratory as they all do. I hope Eric comes also around at the same moment...or maybe he is already there hugging and kissing his fiancée???That would be a SCOOP !! But for a scene like this the writers are too stupid
I just love Felicia she's so cute
the scene with stephanie confronting brooke was so out of place and clearly added to build up to the scene where brooke is revealed to be eric's new love....stephanie hadn't mentioned or thought about brooke once brooke moved out.....
