Greetings from the UK. Just stumbled across your channel, great narration and videography! I’ve just purchased a pair of Doc Martens Chelsea Boots for a change as my 5th pair of 939s are getting toward the end of their life. Need to ensure that I allow enough time to wear the new boots in 😉 I also have a pair of 1461s (narrow plain welt) that I wear to the office that are 10 years old and still going strong! Looking forward to some more content, it would be interesting to hear more about the Made in England range.
Hey from the UK! 🇬🇧 Super glad you're digging our channel and your Dr. Martens collection sounds awesome! Breaking in those new Chelsea Boots is definitely a smart move. And wow, 10 years with your 1461s? That's epic! what more would you want to know about the Made in England?
@@Fodaydontplay Thanks for your reply! Regarding what I would like to know about Made in England, it would be interesting to show a direct comparison to the standard boot or shoe, i.e. a 1460 standard boot vs. A 1460 Made in England boot. How does the fit compare (wider, narrower, same?), how does the leather compare (softer, firmer?), is one more comfortable than the other? etc. Keep up the good work!
Currently, on my second pair of Dr. martens, I originally got the 1461s, and i didn't have many issues with the break-in, only had a small bit of blister on the top of my foot under my big toe but im about 3 weeks into the break in process of 1460s bex and they are kicking my ass!! 😂 only way I found to get them to loosen out was with wonder balm and massaging the leather. Ps love the channel. Keep it up! Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
I got another pair of docs yesterday, 1461 BEX, and let me tell you, even after using leather balsam, putting them near heating and wearing thick socks, I managed to bruise back of my heel really bad! But you know, since it's doc martens, I just sacrifice myself again...
Hi ! I watched this video because I have the exact pair ! Today i wore them for the first time and after about walking for 1/2 hour my heels were peeling and it hurt bad😅. How has your experience been??
@@julianoliver4386 Hey, it's been a while, but I can tell you that it's gonna hurt a bit for some time. As far as I remember, it took me like 2 weeks (?) everyday wearing to be 100% comfortable in them, also used to wear patches on my heels to prevent hurting it more.
I wore mine in 90s which my feet bled untill I broke them in! …but my new one pascal is size 4/5 I have narrow feet and in a size 4 and get shoe slippage. Wish there was half sizes.
i’m shopping for a pair for my teen daughter, so these tips are really helpful! i just wanted to say that this guy’s voice is so smooth and dreamy… along with the music, this video way very enjoyable. thank you. 🤎
What you should have known before is, that these boots are crap for a lot of money. Produced in Thailand, bad leather, and bad melted down soles for around 200 bucks. Be happy, when they work well for a year or something. (The made in England version seems to be ok though)

Yes you can

Good voice.

The original Nazi boot.
Really!
yes, the good Dr Marten was injured fighting for the Nazis and found the standard issue boots too uncomfortable to use @@Fodaydontplay
