I am sorry but aap log idli ka satyanaash kar dete hai . I am a south indian . Wgenever you use urad daal ,fermentation is a must otherwise you get raw smell of urad daal. Eno can only make it fluffy and soft . People are only bothered about softness of idli but not the taste .
@@aparnad100 yes you r right..m yaha ye bolna bhul gayi ki maine dal ko mix karne ke baad 4 ghante ke liye fermentation ke liye rakh diya tha.uske bad hi maine rest of the ingredients add kiye they.thanx for correcting me.I will take care further🙏
@@TasteandTalesbyAsha I am glad that you took my feedback graciously. Let me tell you that 4 hours is also not enough to ferment urad daal. Either ferment it for 6 to 8 hours till the raw smell goes away OR don’t use it at all and make how we make rava idli etc. you will never see a South Indian making idly where uraddaal is used and not fully fermented .
