Its not the same M14 is battle rifle and M-16 is a assault rifle and they used different cartridge M14 used 7.62x51mm why M-16 used 5.56x45 mm its that you called it the same?

antar lami you would not dissasemblem nearly as much as this animation shows to clear jams you obviously have never had experience with this rifle wich is fine so I recommend you go to the channel in range tv and watch their mud test videos

The one you are talking about is the original m16 not the a1 variant the a1 variant has a chrome bolt which dosent jam as much
