Alan Parsons is a legend. He not only wrote awesome music himself but he worked with all the giants of music, including the Beatles and Pink Floyd.

Wow I didn't know Alan Parsons had produce Al Stewart Records, you did a great job, they sound awesome. "Time" from The Alan parsons project was our class song when I graduated from High School in 1983.

Alan Parsons, Al Stewart, and at the end he mentions Justin Hayward. That's my holy trinity right there. ❤️

I was interested in his work on Modern Times...the first one he did for Al Stewart. The production was light years ahead of Stewart's previous record Past Present and Future which was very dry sounding. MT has this a wonderful spatial use of reverb which was perfect for the material, which was terrific.

@@norwegianzound Agreed. I might even like the APP better than Al Stewart but I respect both of their talents.

I honestly feel, had it not been for Parsons and the sax solo played by Kenzie, he might have just remained an obscure folk artist.

Al wholeheartedly embraced the sax after he heard Phil's one take YOTC sax solo. Kudos to Alan for insisting on it during production.
