    It was an ideal couple days for fishing this Holliday, but not even a bite over this way. And Santa didn’t even bring me no Madkatz rods or nothing lol bah humbug 😂 Maybe next year. Nah it was rough getting these five kids taken care of this year, dad will get his rods next year and do what he can with the cheapies this year. The Ohio is rough with all of those cheap stuff I will say that. Good luck in the coming yeah man! Enjoy the videos:

    Curious to find out more on the device you used to relieve the air bladders. I have fizzed many smallmouth and even crappie caught in 40 plus feet of water. Never fizzed a catfish though.

    • @mickaburkhart14
      @mickaburkhart14  7 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah it's just a 3/4 " peice of pvc pipe about 20" long. I drilled 1/4" holes in about the first inch of it. All you really do is just gently push it down the throat of the fish. Little increments at a time until you hear the air come out the end. It's really simple. Way more simple than say a bass.

      @@mickaburkhart14 Thanks once again. When you get another one that needs it, capture some close ups of it and how it’s done please. That is if the fish give ya enough time. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Lookin forward to all your videos in 2024! 🎣

      Yes with a rod and reel. With my sabiki rig. I have a video on that if it helps. It's called Bait Run.

    When you first got your Mad Katz rod, did it make any cracking noises when you were bending it? Mine seems to make a lot of cracking noises. Do you know how to get it to stop?

    • @mickaburkhart14
      @mickaburkhart14  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah all mine did that. It's just the guides and stuff shifting. It stops after a good bend and doesn't hurt a thing.

    • @Reelin_Piggies_Fishing
      @Reelin_Piggies_Fishing 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@mickaburkhart14 I’ve been bending it a lot by lifting up heavy items with it. It seems to go away for a little bit, but when I let it rest and try it again, the noise is still there. How long does it usually take for it to go away?

    • @mickaburkhart14
      @mickaburkhart14  7 месяцев назад

      @@Reelin_Piggies_Fishing well I never payed attention to how long it took so sorry for not having a better answer but it will definitely go away. That I can tell you.

    • @mickaburkhart14
