@@DenUitvreter That is called a strawman-fallacy DenUitvreter, where you put words in peoples mouths. If you are going to call something, "British Bias" you are making a statement about the "British" as a group, which means for it to be true all members of the group must be guilty otherwise you have argued a generalisation-fallacy. "SOME British media are possibly biased" is my claim, which is NOT a claim that there is no bias. I just don't think a conspiracy theory is likely to match up with the truth because if we look at the track record of conspiracy theories they tend to do badly because they're predicated on circular reasoning where the conspiracy-theorist STARTS with a conclusion.

I do not think the British-media as a group, had some Verstappen-vendetta. If we look at the specific evidence taken in isolation, I don't really see anything convincing. Also your point that everyone has bias is an example of equivocation, because I wasn't talking about general bias, I was talking about a specific bias (hatred) of Max Verstappen. I wasn't talking about memory-bias, or confirmation-bias, or racial-bias, I was talking about a bias against Verstappen. In the case of this specific bias, you may have a bias in favour of him or against him but if you are suggesting it is one or the other then you have just committed a mistake called a falsus disiunctivum syllogismus. Passion is bias and no passion means you don't care and that is not F1.
@@Max_Flashheart No Max Flashheart, I wasn't referring to the entire populas. I was referring to the group "British" in reference to all of the British media. If you look at the CONTEXT, we were discussing the British media, but perhaps I should have added "media" to make that clearer. (false dichotomy where there isn't a sound disjunction). Like Coulthard implies, some people are purists and purists tend to have a love of a thing just because of the thing itself, and they don't care about personalities.
