Roland TM-1 Trigger Module Features

The TM-1 Hybrid Trigger Module is the easiest way to create a hybrid drum kit with acoustic and electronic elements. By connecting up to two drum triggers or pads to the TM-1, sounds from within the module can be layered on the acoustic drums, or electronic drum pads can be added to the kit to expand the sounds available.
The TM-1 is purposefully compact for placement within an acoustic kit and can be carried in a kit bag, but it’s also incredibly simple to use. For any drummer wanting to play electronic sounds with their acoustic kit, the TM-1 is a great place to start.
Using the free editor app for desktop and smartphones, it’s easy and intuitive to load samples, edit sounds and settings and set-up the TM-1.
In this video, Roland artists Mark Pusey, Gabi King and Henry Rogers perform with the TM-1, showing the features you can expect to find within. All acoustic drums recorded live on set, using Audix microphones and mixed along with the TM-1. Recorded in UK, January 2019.

1:22 the audio is clearly and badly post-produced as the snare hit happens way before the triggered sound hit. This is a great piece of kit but come on...this actually goes against the whole concept. As the product works better than showcased here.

Hey @RolandChannel is there a firmware update coming where you can split the trigger outs like you can on the TM-2 and have 4 triggers instead of 2? It would make this unit infinitely more useable and saleable. Surely this could be achieved with a software update?

How do You connect the module to the iPad/phone? Bluetooth? Wifi?

Think its a lightning cable to your ipad/android etc may need an adaptor for correct usb type

Only 2 outputs/inputs basically a two piece kit....i will wait.for a 4/5

Good unit but whenever I upload a snare sample it doesn't match the source file sample at all
