Bravo for attempting to explain this song!! Even as a fluent speaking malay, I find it challenging to fully understand the lyrics of this song as it is full of metaphors and kinda philosophical. Very beautiful to listen to though as it is a beautiful and poetic formal malay language.

Many singers actually have more than 3 octave, I'm pretty sure of that. The problem is, being able to produce the notes doesn't equate to your ability to sing in that ranges in one song. It doesn't make the singer with high pitch a better singer. So, Azlan Typewriter for example is no better than Hazami.
Hi Yazik! One of the living legend who written this song - 'M. Nasir'. He also is the singer, composer, producer, song writer. Very talented person. You may check his song too.

The glitter of stars flashes across the sky
Kilauan bintang berkelip-kelip di langit tinggi
And the light danced in the blue sky
Dan cahaya menari-nari di langit biru
Can't calm my feelings
Tidaklah dapat menenangkan perasaanku
Who misses the presence of love
Yang merindukan kehadiran kasih
Gravitational rhythm is a pleasant bamboo feeling *buluh perindu is a family of bamboo but it also can potray as a lovely voice*
Gemersik irama merdu buluh perindu
And chanting choruses of angel from the sky/heaven
Dan nyanyian pari-pari dari kayangan
It cannot calm my heart
Tidaklah dapat tenteramkan sanubari
Who longs for the assurance of your love
Yang mendambakan kepastian kasihmu
Willing to let go of everything I have
Rela lepaskan segala-gala yang ku ada
If that's what you wish for
Andai itu yang kau hajatkan
Be willing to accept whatever the conditions and expectations are
Rela terima apapun syaratnya dan dugaan
For me to prove my love
Untuk ku buktikan cintaku
As long as I can cure my wounded heart
Asalkan dapat ku mengubati hatiku yang cedera
Falling in love *but literally translated: lost because of love*
Ditumpaskan cinta
As long as I can subdue the fury of the soul
Asalkan dapat ku menundukkan amukan gelora jiwa
The one who charges *I think is longing for love*
Yang menagih kasih
Sincerely fine
Yang halus yang tulus
The saint is holy
Yang mulus yang kudus
Refine, sincerely
Yang halus, yang tulus
The saint is holy (this one is lost in translation but I think 'yang mulus' mean beautiful 'yang kudus' mean pure)
Yang mulus yang kudus
I hope my night is no longer the field of tears
Semuga malamku tidak lagi jadi medan airmata
Stabbed all over my neck (again: lost in translation 😂 kalbu means heart, so it's about feeling)
Menusuk segenap kalbuku
