Which part are you refering to? For the snappers I was using 13lb braid with 12lb leader, this was the yellow rod. I could go heavier(orange rod) but I find they don't hit them as much as the lighter setup. I only really use the orange one when I'm skull dragging jewfish and snappers out of the pylons. It's got on 31lb braid with 20lb leader

@@brunomerlini4248 nah that first fish was rookie.. that was 20lb. I forgot how strong they were. Was just using my jewie/threadie rig for Brisbane River. I've hence upgraded everything including my reel. Will be back up there shortly in the near future for some redemption 🤣
Hello, there are no recreational fishing license required in Queensland waters unless it is a stock impoundment like the one in this video. Stock impoundments requires a SIP ( Stock impoundment permit) which is available for purchase online.
