In this video, we’re taking you to Bukittinggi, in the West Sumatra Province of Indonesia.
We’ll be visiting the nearby Lake Maninjau, trying the local cuisine, and starting a dance party in the town square.
We’re starting this trip by making the 95km drive from Padang to Bukittinggi.

Saat ini di Padang sedang tertutup Kabut Asap (akibat pembakaran lahan) selama 2 bulan, hujan gak turun-turun. Udara pengap dan panas banget.
Semoga hujan cepat turun di sana kawan.......Alhamdulillah di Bukittinggi(kabupaten Agam) hujan hampir 3 kali seminggu kawan,mungkin karena daerah kami di pegunungan dan di kelilingi oleh bukit barisan,makanya jarang kami yg merasakan kekeringan di sini.

Lots of happy memories. Our old house, Rumah Gadang is till there, at Jalan Tengah Sawah, in front of SMK school and not far from Surau (Masjid) Inyik Jambek and Grand Masjid of Bukittinggi. I was there in 2023. The vice major of Bukittinggi was kind enough that he let me and my small team stay for a night in his house.
This video is making me smile, and with happy tears as well, for I am watching it from Surabaya.

I'm Minangnese, I laugh so hard when you said Minang people are good cooks but crazy drivers, because it was so true!!! I'm one of those crazy driver out here in Padang but my father is crazier than me. He can drive his car from Padang to Bukittinggi in 1 hour and 40 minutes 😂. And I enjoyed watching you to try some weird local things! My father love those dadiah (fermented buffalo milk) he even eat it without mix it with anything, but ugh tbh I don't like it, it's sour, I was surprised that you enjoyed it 😂. Love your videos!
