In this video, we’re taking you to the beautiful Samosir Island of Lake Toba, in Sumatra, Indonesia.
We’ll be exploring the island by jetski, trying the local food, and learning more about the Batak culture.

There was originally more than one king, seven from memory. In english they would be called Chiefs. And the idea is that every single person can trace their ancestry from one of those 7 kings. So yes, all Batak should be descendants from those 7 kings/chiefs who founded Samosir.

@@himmel2436 iya betul, FYI, sebenarnya Suku Batak sudah memiliki Keyakinan Parmalim yaitu keyakinan yang mengakui satu Tuhan sebagai pencipta alam semesta, biasa disebut Mulajadi Nabolon (Sang Awal Penjadi Yang Agung). Ugamo Malim merupakan sistem religi kuno yang berlanjut dari dulu dan dianut oleh masyarakat Batak jauh sebelum masuk agama Kristen Protestan, Islam dan Kristen Katolik. Jadi memang masyarakat nusantara sudah memiliki banyak kebijaksanaan hidup sebelumnya. sesuatu yang sangat menarik untuk dipelajari.

I was a guide for german tourist for more than ten years ago. We had tried not to Tell that Story in Huta Siallagan clearly, because It was to vulgar and sadistic. Our Group was made fun for dancing and leisure.
And People in Pulau Samosir should say many2 thanks to.Mr. Jokowi government. This Island is much better right now.
