i feel like some much needed context for the surrender thing (which i also find infinitely frustrating) is that in League of Legends, where a lot of the community is from, just saying "go next" after a game goes slightly wrong is insanely common especially in the top 50% of the skill bracket, mostly due to how much harder it is in that game to front a comeback. it still absolutely sucks to deal with in soloq with how not true the same fact is for Valorant, though

At first it was funny cause I was joking with a few friends "Yea valorant players are cowards haha" but when I kept playing it kept happening and it got annoying
"after some rough offensive sides, i realized that chamber was a defensive sided agent" as someone who pretty much one tricks support, it's made me laugh so hard since chamber's release when people insist he's a duelist lol. he's a sentinel for a reason. riot made him a sentinel for a reason. the more you play him like a sentinel, the more the game rewards you for it, but people just double down and say deagle go brr and try to do some crazy irrational shit lmao
"Valorant has the greatest losers mindset problem of any game I've ever played..." This is true of League of Legends, too, and to a similar degree. Wonder what it is about Riot games that promotes this mentality?
The only time I have ever had loser's mindset was when none of our teammates had above 7 kills and it had already been 11 rounds. At some point, you have to realize that losing hope is just what has to happen, and that trying to comeback will just make you even more frustrated with yourself and your team
I played a valorant game the other day one person already tried to surrender at 0-4 and we went all the way down to 0-8 while they complained about wasting thier time. Turns out we won that game 13-11. I'm just glad i was in a 3 stack with my friends so we could persuade our team to keep going
I'm not sure how related this is, but I've been playing some OG Titanfall lately and - even though I have a tendency to lose every 8 out of 10 games - I always stick through every match because, despite getting outmatched by Pilots _and_ demolished y Titans, the game is still really fun, instinctively wall running and skipping across rooftops, running unseen between Titans, occasionally getting a kill or genuine spree every chance game, it's just pure fun even if I'm not very good. Admittedly, that is down to the fact I haven't played in years and I seem to be paired with Gen 1 babies, but I am getting better, Hell, I even managed to singlehandedly acquire all three hardpoints in a match once (of course, my team subsequently lost them, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and even managed to flip the score in another; it's just like the team advisors say, sure the enemy might be winning but even if they've just got a quarter of the winning score left to acquire we can still use the power of friendship to turn things around, and it's videos like this that prove that.
i think its especially stupid to give up when you have only played one half of the game. Players in your team may be very good as Ts but bad at Cts side so giving up after losing even a 12 - 0 is just plain stupid and not even accounting the fact that the fewer round discrepancy there is the fewer points you lose on a loss. In my opinion the best solution to this problem is to remove the surrender option except for, if someone disonnects etc. Just thinking about how many comebacks from 15-0 i had in cs is wanna make me throw up as soon as i hear my m8s say gg go next after a 5-0. The problem is not only that ppl actually give up but by giving them the option, they will have given up on the game even though the vote won't go threw.
Thank you for calling out the losers mentality! I don't play much Valorant but even in CS I have so many friends that just give up if we're down 4 or 5 rounds. I hate that people expect every win they have to be a stomp, and think that if they're losing that they should accept it and get rolled over. I always say, every game is winnable - that's the *winners mentality* !
I know you said that since valorant doesn't have a demo viewer you can't make your quote-unquote nice videos. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
I really hate how people give up so easily, I always refuse to surrender and I always try to boost the morale of my teammates because you never know how it's going to go, I have literally come back from games I have never should have won. I always appreciate your attitude and the fact that you keep saying the same thing, it's not over until the victory or defeat screen shows up.

Yea ngl, when I hopped onto valorant after a few cs matches I was surprised how so many people voted to surrender when we lost like the first few rounds. At first it was funny cause I was joking with a few friends "Yea valorant players are cowards haha" but when I kept playing it kept happening and it got annoying
Do you not think the same thing wouldnt happen if cs can vote surrender without having a teammate needs to abandon the match first
@@alphaomega8481 Yes, because I've been to a lot of lobbies where even we're down 1 guy they refuse to surrender

Solo q to faceit level 10 make it happen warowl
Oh god no
"Valorant has the greatest losers mindset problem of any game I've ever played..." This is true of League of Legends, too, and to a similar degree. Wonder what it is about Riot games that promotes this mentality?
"More one-sided than a möbius-strip",
that was an epic statement.
Yeah lol
Me: *knows that the best way to avoid plateauing is to keep pushing yourself*
Also me: *never queues ranked*
“I don’t see him being used at a pro level”
Proceeds to become a Tier “S” agent
The WarOwl curse never ends lol
The only time I have ever had loser's mindset was when none of our teammates had above 7 kills and it had already been 11 rounds. At some point, you have to realize that losing hope is just what has to happen, and that trying to comeback will just make you even more frustrated with yourself and your team

I was playing with an old mate last year (2020) and we lost the first half 2-10, We came back and won 13-10. Owl is right, you never give up.
Had a game on bind where we were 1-12 and were certain we would win. Won 18-16.
@@downnnnnn Who asked.
Ok dude
Comeback is real. I went from losing 1-7 in wingman to winning 9-7
Yeah
more one sided than a mobius strip is probably the best thing ive heard this week
"Yes even the mighty WarOwl has a NiKo shot every once in a while"
*AAAA-*
;-; That was outta pocket of him
One of the best deagle players in the world will now be known for the one shot he missed, like damn.
The losers mindset problem problem probably came straight from the dark heart of league of legends....
i think its especially stupid to give up when you have only played one half of the game.

WarOwl: "Sup team."
Skye: 'Starts getting murdered'
Thank you for calling out the losers mentality! I don't play much Valorant but even in CS I have so many friends that just give up if we're down 4 or 5 rounds. I hate that people expect every win they have to be a stomp, and think that if they're losing that they should accept it and get rolled over. I always say, every game is winnable - that's the *winners mentality* !
Yeah
I cant believe that there still are Breeze games without Vipers on both teams, by far the best map/agent combo
I think the “GG Go next” mentality in Val comes from a myriad of factors, but surrender being way less punishing than in CS is a big one
For some reason at first look I thought it is 10 hours straight CSGO solo queue and I thought "no pls don't burn out yourself"
As a NA Immortal I can confirm that NA Immortals play like that.
This new SoloQ in valorant series is pretty fun. MOAR
"valorant has the biggest loser mindset of any game I ever played" they are learning very well from league of legends players
Stop, scope, flick, fire then escape. Damn WarOwl did it
Keep up the good work warowl! I love when you post new videos.
8:26 HUGE lesson in life ✨ Thanks for inspiring, you’re awesome!
I know you said that since valorant doesn't have a demo viewer you can't make your quote-unquote nice videos. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
5:07 bro that face of just straight confusion got me laughing XD
I really hate how people give up so easily, I always refuse to surrender and I always try to boost the morale of my teammates because you never know how it's going to go, I have literally come back from games I have never should have won. I always appreciate your attitude and the fact that you keep saying the same thing, it's not over until the victory or defeat screen shows up.
I do that too
honestly i play chamber not for the op not for the fancy sherrif but just so I can hold stupid angles that no one else can get too. play normal for a few round and surprise with the "I'm above you baby!" absolutely love it.
I lowkey did the same thing and cldnt feel my legs after i stopped playing
8:19 forward is the reason i clicked on this video even though i never play valorant and dont even like the game gotta love the life advice
Rip chamber
I waited so long for your next Valorant video.
Please do more
I feel like chamber is Riots Way to finally change the jett meta
WarOwl : Remember don't surrender fight back you can win
Valorant Player : Remember surrender you can't win
He needs to do this funny skit at the end where he says: "I am the warowl and I still have no clothes on" then it shows him in his birthday suit, ofc with his junk censored. It would be hilarious. :-)
Yeah :)
imagine having a skill where you just get a better version of an already existing gun lol
As someone who didn't take tactial shooters seriously until Valorant, its great to see WarOwl play Valorant. His CS:GO content has always been great but I've always preferred Valorant, I'm glad a content creator as great as him is making content about the game.
I like the new quick editing style!
Don't tell me that another legend in the CSGO community is switching to Valorant
Bro he does Valorant like once every 3 months he isnt quiting
;-; You new here?
imagine having a game that can only be playable on third party cause everybody is cheating in prime mm and 64tick servers. valve need to get their asses to work on an actual anticheat. i am not saying valorant is better because the gameplay kinda sucks compared to cs
Games be toxic man. Glad to see someone can play solo queue and have a good time. Can’t say I ever really liked valorant enough to play consistently but the sniping looks fun.
Stop torturing yourself by playing Valorant, i love your content
I know you won't read this or see it and I also know these videos don't preform as well and they cap your creativity due to the lack of a replay viewer but I honestly LOVE your Valorant content so much. I wish I could spend all day watching your Valorant videos. I absolutely would love to see more.
I didnt expect Riot to add more heroes. Are they gonna do this constantly now? If yes, how are they gonna maintain the balance? I was hoping they would put their focus more on keeping the map pool fresh (unlike in counter strike).
They add one map and then one agent and then one map and then one agent... You get the picture
CS:GO mapping is getting much much better. Take ancient for example
It's one agent per act and one map per 3 acts.
I love it when WarOwl does Valorant content
The last time I had a game surrendered in valorant was last year, my experience in valorant is the score can be 12-2 and people will still try their best and I personally think that's p cool
That surrenderring thing you talked about, i was one of those players. And when i saw this video i kept winning. One game we started 4-10 and surprisingly won. I always get tilted like crazy. 1st round i already wanted to surrender
I love the warowl valorant videos!
8:39 thank you for this motivation.
FF'ing is a common problem in RIOT games. It stems from League of Legends. "ff at 15"
