The last time I had NB was in Navy bootcamp, they gave us a choice between Nike and NB (can't remember models). The shoes seem nice but the N seems plain to me, Nike is NPC shoes.

I own 2 nb. The JFG outside 990 and a black pair of 550s. It seems more to me that Nike/jordan brand purest are the haters. I’ve noticed they don’t like anything if it doesn’t resemble a hoop shoe. Dad shoes and runners are in for some but seems like those mid 30s and up crowds have an issue with nb. 574s were really the only accessible pair for some of us and that wasnt the style growing up

I think people are just stuck on Nike and Jordan brand. Unless you are under an actual contract by Nike....there is no reason for the average consumer to ride so hard for them. Other brands exist, at least try them out.

I dont hate NB, I just dont see the appeal in any of them or running shoes in general. To me its just another fad everyone is chasing for the moment. Its no different from the time when everyone wanted Ultraboost or Pharrell's.
Im an old head who likes his Jordan Retos but, that dont stop me from enjoying other shoes like the AirMax, DT Max, Yeezy's, Kobe's, Labron's, Underdogs, or evan Foamposites. If NB wants to win me over, they need to come up with something that has a lot less going on with the upper and midsole.
