They should have followed Ajax's and Benfica's model of profitability from their great academy which would've made them as competitive as Dortmund right now.

They had recently won the league twice in a row, and then the cup, but ended up relegated in 2019 after losing their best players and with a very bad financial situation. They stayed 3 years in the second division, with an awful campaign in the second year, almost getting relegated to the third. However they managed to save themselves thanks to a new manager and, the following year, with a new club owner in Ronaldo (R9), they went back up and are still in the top flight. Ronaldo and his group are now better organizing the club.
