Would I need to do anything so the vinyl you see, can I just apply is straight on the MDF wood or do I need to do something to the wood first. Prime it, or paint it with gloss paint, ect.... Thanks.

They easily can be, it just takes twice the amount of material. This customer opted not to wrap the insides of the doors to save on the cost of the project.
I wish you showed how you cut your "hinge" holes, I get a vision of everything twisting and ruining all that fine work when drilling those holes through it....
Everyone does it a little different. 3M class taught us 3 different ways to do corners. I just picked this technique. Thanks for your input

Yes, but if you can get some moisture (NOT DRIPPING WET) it will most likely be fine. These solutions are only really for furniture on its last leg.
