Hey everyone, just to let you know they have now announced the launch of early access as being on the 5th of November. I'm away at the moment but will make a short vid about this and the other bits of news when I get back. Thanks to OnFight1997 for updating us in the comments.
From what people are saying it may not be perfect at launch. But neither was RuneScape and it took me over 10 years to get tired of that. So I'm very excited and very hopeful for this game.
We will have to try it and see, I'm also interested to see how often new content is coming out. The 'episodic' strategy implies new content will be pretty regular, so I imagine we'll see quite a lot of variety after launch - at least I hope so!
Only found out about this a week ago and I'm looking forward to it's release. I have high hopes for it since it's developed by the creator of Runescape. If only he never sold that game.
As much as I have been so hyped about this game, there are still a few things that automatically worry me about the game play. Obviously, a major one being the individual instanced rooms, although I think I could get used to that, (it is what it is). But I really hope we can disable the dots on the ground, showing the path that your character is taking. I feel like to guided dots are lame, and will really be an eye sore to any type of immersion and anesthetics..
Yeah a lot of people are worried about the rooms, it definitely struck me as odd, but not sure if I like it or not. I would have thought an option to disable the dots could be added if people ask for it, maybe it will be there on release. Shouldn't be a hard thing to code!
Am i the only one who actually thinks the room tile based levels actually look cool? Really looking foward to this game! Was never able to get into runescape unfortunately but this looks amazing!
It definitely think it makes the game stand out from the crowd. Gower said he was going for like a tabletop RPG feel which I think this does point towards. We will see when we play the game whether it works or not!
@@glenn6284 you mean having the separate rooms? Yeah it definitely makes it look different, I guess would you describe Dragon Age 2 or Divinity 2 (maybe Baldur's Gate as well although I haven't played that) as not being open world? Mechanically I think it's similar to that. Will that work in an MMO? Not sure... I'm willing to give it a go though
@@glenn6284 Ahh I gotcha, yeah the 'rooms' are much smaller. To me open world is like Skyrim or something, but of course, that is still divided up into rooms, but the overworld map is so big that it's not noticeable. To me I definitely noticed the difference in Divinity & Baldur's gate style games, they're not 'open world' in my eyes. But yeah I get your point, the rooms shown in this game are much smaller and more obvious.
@@mula5926 yeah this clearly isn't aimed at people looking for AAA graphics, gameplay-wise we haven't really seen much of that so it's hard to comment. if you try it out then I hope it surprises you and you enjoy it - and if you don't then I hope you'll find a game you really love!
@@usernameusernameusername12 I play OSRS so tell me how i'm not the target for the game? I'm not looking for AAA graphics. The timeline for this started in 2010 and you're telling me this is the best they could do after almost 15 years in development?

Finally! Thanks for the update

Couldn't agree more!
Why am I googling this game every few days to see if theres a release date? At least weekly! I cant wait lmao
Haha me too!
Definitely going to give this game a try on release - hope it will be a good one!
Great, I hope so too!
Recently came back to a GIM-OSRS run and honestly pretty hyped to play this - will likely play a month as member and see how it is.
Excellent, looking forward to seeing you in game!
They lost a key developer, ETA is now November 5th.
Thanks for the update. I love the video they used to announce it 😂
Will give this a try
Man i cant wait
i'll try it but looks kinda blend. I hope I am wrong.

@@GoldRocketGamers lets wait and see. I do love osrs.

Haha what a world that would be! Then again he probs wouldn't have had the money to make this one! Hope you enjoy it, I'm looking forward to it too!

It not being open-world is a huge mistake. it just looks like an simulator, who gets hyped for this i dont think allot of people.

@@GoldRocketGamers nah baldurs gate is like open area’s this literally rooms like the skill dungeonedring. I find that just boring.

Looks like crap
Are you talking about the graphics or something else? It's definitely not aimed at the AAA graphics market 😂
If im honest. It looks boring and I doubt it will gain traction.
@@JesusIsTheWay59 a few people have made similar comments so you're not alone! I mean the real proof is in how the game plays, so we'll see!
This game looks like SHIT
Do you mean the graphics, or something else?
