Yes, that glass piece was a Home Interiors votive holder. They had a piece of rubber on the bottom and went in a sconce to hold votive candles. Enjoy your school year! My daughter is a teacher and our kids don’t go back until after Labor Day and she’s already wishing for one more day😂
Good morning sweet friend 😊 this is a jaw dropping haul y’all find amazing things from vintage Christmas to primitive pc ‘s & everything in between 😊 girl friend that chippy green cabinet had me drooling 😂 she’s gorgeous ❤ I’m gonna try & create something similar to the doll case Lord knows I’ve got alot of small pc’s 😊 if I am able to I promise I won’t copy because i’m like you I like having something different 😊 I pray your school yr goes great 🙏 I’m sure gonna miss all your videos can’t wait to see your home all dressed up for fall & Christmas, I’ve gotta deep clean & flim a home tour then take summer down so it’ll be ready for fall inside then outside I’ll do the same but I won’t do mums til 2nd or 3rd wk of September due to the heat anyway have a Blessed wk back @ work my daughter is teaching k but she’s taking a test that will allow her up to 4th she’s a realtor but loves working w/ children 😊 she helped me last night turn my comment’s I had posted 2 haul videos & didn’t realize they were set for children 🤦♀️ until 3 sweet ladies told me & gave me tips on holding my phone sideways when filming I really appreciated them I need all the input I can get 😂 that’s how we learn & grow each day by helping each other so maybe 1 day I can pay it forward 😊
Again, speaking as a VMD vendor, I want to reply to the comment you made about not understanding why they don't want to sell display pieces, let me tell you the reason why I don't like to sell all my display pieces and I'm sure that you hadn't considered this, but my booth takes 6 months to curate and design and stock (which is the time in between our 2 sale dates of April and October). Keep in mind we want our booths to knock the buyers socks off, not only with product for sale, but the way it looks including how things are displayed. We can not go to Walmart and pick out new ironstone bowls or antique wood stools, etc. to use for our displays. Sometimes it is hard replacing those pieces to have to the look we want. I can't speak for other vendors, but I can tell you I try to theme my entire booth for each season, not just 1 theme, but many! Each time something different, this upcoming show I'm planning men's habadashery, fall, Halloween, Christmas, travel, back to school, chinoiserie, farmhouse kitchen, Boho and cottage core. Believe me when I say, it is hard to source and I don't like having to start from ground zero every time with my functional display pieces!

I also have had an idea of how long it would take to plan for some of these set ups. Some vendors I’ve noticed will sale and you pick up on the last day. I don’t undermine the hard work that is put into these booths. Now I wish I could run to Walmart and buy ironstone 😂

The “cloche” started its life as a candle holder for a sconce on the wall or maybe it fit in a candle stick. I was buying those like crazy earlier in the year thinking I corned the market on cloches lol. I was cleaning them and wrapping them up, so proud….and then realized what it really was. Whatever. They work and look so stunning as a cloche. My mawma had them on her wall.
That Santa in the doll case is absolutely amazing!
