Hey, thanks for the video. Two questions: If we are talking about previous day, is there a specific timezone for example new york time to look at? Also I would love to see signals from this strategy in your signals group to see how rubust it is in the future. By the way, are you still in the phillipines?
Backtest it for the time zone you will be trading. This is what I plan on doing for several different market cycles.
i only trade GU and I use this strat on the m5, however...i do not wait for that 'lower low/high' to form on the Vuhachoo! (bless me)..i wait green/red/green or red/green/red dot to form...if there's only one dot formed on 'the mountain' then that dot must be tilted either towards the downside or upside (depending on the entry)
it'd be interesting to see the results on other pairs/instruments

I back tested EU from 2023, till date, with some optimization in regards to SL and TP, and it is giving amazing results!
Good video BUT..... this systems results are not real in terms of what you will get as a trader. the main reason is because we dont trade 24/7 and this test is linear..... You ar not trading one specific session or one specific time range. This 10 months could turn into 30 months. Overall the strategy prooves to be profitable.

I definitely like keeping an eye on the previous days HL. Not sure i would base the whole strategy around it. Wouldn't it be better if you could scan and analyze the chart quicker and make your decision faster? Less rules, more based on current price action?
this is such an original strategy, I don't think that I came across something like this. It is a bit complicated for my taste. Separately would it be OK if I would ask for an opinion on a indicator that I made? Since I started watching your videos I think I gotten better and I wanted to share with you some of the progress I've made. I would really like at least an answer on this yes/no if you would take a look on it.
I wish you used the same asset for all your testing, as otherwise it makes the GOA statistic irrelevant.

Nice hindsight stratgey, like many are. It''l be too late to get into the trade once the cipher cross over triggers.
You might have misunderstood the rules. What you are saying is incorrect. The entry is done once the candle causing the cross has closed, which means there's no difference between the entry price in back testing compared to real time.
Ive used a similar strat with high lows pivots with the 200 with success. Im going to back test this on some pairs for comparison.
And i do my trading session's based on indicators in real life. Anyone could watch or ask questions im opened for everyone. :)

Fake, tested BTC in Feb 2023, -7% result
That’s weird. I tested GBPUSD for a month and got 17% gain including commissions and more than 1 entry per day. I also just did this live and made almost 2% on my account. I traded GBPUSD and AUDUSD.
Perhaps it was a very good day and a very good month, but still… looks legit.
